The View at Charleville is a brand new wedding venue created to highlight the breathtaking landscape that Missouri Wine Country has to offer. Every detail of this space was thoroughly thought out and planned to enhance the best day of your life. Couples who book The View at Charleville can share their big days with up to 175 guests inside and 100 people in the outdoor event space. The venue's experienced team has put together several wedding packages for to-be-weds to choose from. Ceremony, reception, micro wedding, elopement, and vow renewal options are available, each featuring helpful amenities. The Vault at Reserve Artisan Ales is Galesburg’s premier wedding and event venue. Located centrally between Peoria, Quad Cities, and Burlington. Visit one of Illinois' most unique and historic venues. Originally a 1950s car dealership the building boasts light from every direction through vast windows. Throughout the years the building has been home to local businesses providing service to Galesburg, Illinois, and the surrounding Knox County area. When plans for renovations came about the space was envisioned to be somewhere you can host any type of event. From weddings to class reunions, holiday parties, galas, and meetings for private use. The possibilities are endless for this dynamic event venue.

Construction on the Lake Springfield Postal Club began in the early 1940s. Post office employees donated over 50,000 hours on weekends, evenings and days off to complete the building. A team of horses and a sliding bucket were used to dig out the basement. The Postal Club officially opened in 1948. The total construction cost was approximately $15,000. In 2005, there were only two of the original Postal Club members left. In 2000 the Postal Club merged with the Springfield Firefighters Local 37. In 2001 the firefighters burned down the original Postal Club to make way for a new building. The new club was completed in 2002. The total construction cost was $3.6 million. The clubhouse is surrounded by 5 acres of woods, with boathouses, docks, beaches, parking lot, sidewalks, bandstand, and much more.
