In 1884 the family decided they needed room for weddings and parties so they had the house lifted, making it a two and a half story mansion that we use today for events as they did back centuries ago. The Victorian style makes for the perfect romantic setting for your wedding, as well as the enjoyment of being on historic Saint Charles Avenue with its access to many five star hotels and the Street Car line.
