The Old Scott Barn truly is a venue like no other! Although the 1800s barn is fully restored, we made every effort to keep the original dairy barn features intact. The upstairs hay loft has a spectacular view of Signal Mountain which you will enjoy as you dance on the new wood floors beneath the old hay trolley above you. When you descend the wrap around stair case and enter the old milking parlor downstairs, you will see a stunning 30 foot live edge wood bar and new 20" wide pine flooring nestled in among the old cow stanchions and milking hardware. It is a unique Vermont experience and the perfect setting for your special party. The downstairs is fully winterized and available for small winter weddings and parties.

“We couldn't have asked for a better experience with The Old Scott Barn. From our first conversation, Martin was responsive and genuinely excited to help us plan our day. He stayed flexible with our ideas while keeping everything organized and professional, which gave us confidence that our wedding would run smoothly. The space itself is breathtaking with those incredible views and rustic charm that made our celebration feel intimate yet grand. What really impressed us was how much we got for the price—a spacious venue with stunning backdrops without breaking the bank. Martin's kindness and laid-back approach made the whole planning process enjoyable, and we'd recommend The Old Scott Barn to any couple looking for an affordable, beautiful rustic setting.”

“Getting to have our wedding at Burke Mountain was so special! We could not have asked for a better weekend or wedding day. Alicia and her team are amazing and truly helped us bring our dream wedding to life. From the start, Alicia helped answer all of our questions (and we had many!) and helped us create the perfect day while always keeping our budget in mind. She provided detailed timelines and deadlines and helped us stay on track throughout the planning process. She was on top of all the details, both big and small, and even helped coordinate with each of our vendors. She was so great to work with! I'd also be remiss not to give Lou a shout-out! He worked so hard all weekend to make sure everything was set up for us, from the chairs and tables in the reception space to bringing the mums we had for the ceremony up to the site for us. Not only are Alicia, Lou, and the rest of their team incredibly organized, but they are all so kind! All weekend, we had staff offering to help, asking what we needed, and doing the same for our guests. While our entire wedding was everything we dreamed of and more, it was truly the people who helped make our wedding weekend so special, and that includes the team at Burke Mountain. In addition to the incredible team, the venue itself was stunning. We were lucky enough to have a beautiful, sunny fall day, and our guests were in awe of the views from both the mountain/pavilion site and the hotel. The space was comfortable, the food was delicious, and we loved that our guests could stay at the hotel if they chose to. We would absolutely recommend Burke Mountain to anyone looking for a wedding venue. We are so grateful we got to celebrate our wedding there!”

“My husband and I got married at the Exit 33 courtyard and had our reception at the Tourqouse Tiger at Turning Stone. We live and Denver but wanted to have our wedding in New York since that is our home state. We were super nervous about planning a wedding from across the country but Turning Stone blew us away! There were so many package options and we found one that was perfect for us for a pretty affordable wedding price. Additionally, it came with a wedding planner and we hit the jackpot with Quiana Morgan. She was incredible and my husband and I refer to her as THE GOAT! She was detailed, attentive, and made everything about us and what we wanted, she never made us feel pressured and did anything she could to make sure we had everything we wanted. We had a very non traditional wedding, so we asked for some out of the box accommodations and we never heard the work no from her. On top of that, she’s just a great person with a great personality and made the whole experience so fun for us. Come day of the wedding, she had everything planned out, did all the decorating and made me vision come to life, it was absolutely gorgeous. She kept the show running and everything on time and was there to support us through the whole day. She holds a special place in our hearts and I would do any event with her 1000 times over. The venue was beautiful, the food and drinks were amazing, and all of the staff working our wedding was so sweet and just showered us in compliments and amazing vibes. The casino itself was also amazing and there was so much to do. We partied all night and made the best memories. I also got my makeup done at the spa and I looked flawless, it was amazing. Would recommend turning stone weddings for anyone looking for an amazing venue!”

“We had the most fabulous long weekend celebrating our daughter’s wedding at Sunday River, and we truly could not have asked for a more wonderful experience! From the moment we checked in on Thursday, everyone we encountered was incredibly kind, welcoming, and helpful. The level of service throughout the entire weekend was exceptional. From Brandon at check-in that first evening, to Benedict, who was constantly going above and beyond to help us, to Greg, Jennie-Mae, Michael (Samantha’s dedicated server), and every member of the waitstaff and bartending team; everyone was absolutely wonderful. Most importantly, our daughter truly felt like a princess on her wedding day. As her parents, there is nothing more we could have asked for. Our family and friends are still talking about what a beautiful wedding it was, the incredible food, and the exceptional service they received throughout the weekend. One of our favorite little details was the grilled cheese and tomato soup shooters our daughter had specifically requested for cocktail hour. Sunday River went out of their way to custom make them for her. They ended up being an enormous hit, our guests absolutely loved them! They have since been added to the menu! Cambelle was an absolute pleasure to work with, and we are so grateful to her and the entire Sunday River team for making such an important weekend in our family’s lives feel so special. The Jordan Hotel was the perfect setting for the celebration, and everything came together more beautifully than we could have imagined. I could continue singing their praises for pages, but simply put, we cannot thank everyone enough for making our daughter and son-in-law’s wedding weekend so incredibly special and memorable. We will always look back on those few days with the happiest memories and are so grateful we chose Sunday River for such a special occasion. If you are considering Sunday River for your wedding, I cannot recommend them highly enough!”

“Originally when I saw the inn I wasn’t sold, it’s slightly dated (but charming) and would be a bit far for friends and family (we live in Boston and family all over) but their responsiveness and flexibility sold us. They were so nice and so accommodating the entire way. We loved that people could stay on site ( but no minimum night stay requirement) or could stay at b&b or Airbnb in town. The activities like the pool and golf were great too. Everything, including the weather was perfect. We did a tented wedding which I loved, I didn’t like that cocktail hour was near the parking lot, but in the end it really didn’t matter. The food was excellent, they let us really chose anything we wanted and made it happen. They made the signature cocktails just like we requested and they were so delicious. Everyone on site was so incredibly friendly from bar tenders to servers. Jonathan was an awesome day of coordinator and really made sure it was smooth and easy, the staff did all the setting up and it looked beautiful. All our guests loved the bethel inn too! During our process the inn did get bought by a larger company but we never noticed any change in our planning and process. I’m not sure if they are going to continue to have weddings under new management but if they do- I say do it! Loved it so much! We took photos at their boat house and they were so kind to prepare a canoe and clean it, our photographers were impressed!”

“The whole team was extremely supportive and so excited to make our day perfect. We held our reception at the Tavern and the team worked with us to create the perfect winter wedding theme. The guests had a great time and really enjoyed the venue. One of my favorite things the team worked with me on was to create a late night s’mores bar out by the fire pits. Besides just holding the reception we also had our rehearsal dinner with them where they were able to work easily with all of our dietary restrictions. The majority of the wedding guests stayed at the inn and the team was super supportive of making sure the guests were able to make the most of their time area. It was truly a dream to work with them and I’d do it all over again.”
