The Venue at River's Edge is a recently restored Venue in downtown waterloo. Formerly the building was used as a community building before the city of waterloo had things like a school gym or a theater. At one time the building hosted a long list of events including basketball games, weddings, movies, plays, and even a rifle range in the basement. After being restored we are now again hosting events with a primary focus on weddings and receptions. Ethereal Confections is more than just a chocolate company. At Ethereal, we know just what you’re looking for in a wedding venue, and our staff is dedicated to making your special day perfect. We now have two location offerings! The Loft at Ethereal is our original venue with exposed brick walls, hardwood floors, and large windows. Your guests will be greeted with the aroma of chocolate as soon as they walk in. It has an ideal capacity of up to 80 guests (100 max). The Courthouse Square (opening September 2023), great for weddings of 100-120 guests (150 max, depending on floor plan) and is a show stopper with it’s historic architecture and modern finishes. With amenities such as a large wedding suite with lots of natural light and a separate ceremony room option, the space has been renovated with you in mind. The Courthouse Square also has an add-on option of the old Sheriff’s House, complete with original Jail Cells, it’s definitely the ultimate photo op.

The Chapel was finished in 1905 and was in use until 2007 when the 3 Catholic Parishes (St. Michael’s, St. Patrick’s, and St. Peter’s) merged into one. The new Parish is now known as St. Katharine Drexel Parish. In November 2010 we purchased the church from St. Katharine Drexel Parish. A lifeless shell that had been empty for 3 years, we hope to revitalize this stately building, share its beauty and grandeur with the community, and open it to all who are looking for a unique space to hold events. Opening in mid-summer of 2011, Chapel of the Archangels is limited only by your imagination, we offer a great place to hold weddings, wedding receptions, anniversaries, vow renewals. The sky’s the limit! We also offer a convenient reception hall, meeting and educational facility in the Angel’s Den downstairs, complete with bar, kitchen facilities, and Wi-Fi. We are a non-denominational facility. We are also handicapped accessible to both the main sanctuary and to the basement via the elevator.

Fat Apple Farm is a family-owned wedding venue located in dodge county between Columbus and Beaver Dam. We offer wedding weekends, allowing you to slow down.
