I have gained over 6 years of professional videography experience, filming a variety of events such as sports games, commercials, short films, promotional videos and weddings. I just love taking photographs! Photos are something I've valued as long as I can remember, and I've had a camera since I could click the shutter button. My husband and I got into real estate, and then owned a salon, so I took a lot of commercial style photos. We sold our salon and I started taking photographs professionally.

I have spent years in hospitality, fine dining, IT support, you name it. And the most important through-line in my work has been relationships. Relationships you make with people are sometimes more important than the job you do, not to dismiss the job as something to be sloppy with, but to say there is only so far that accomplishing the job can make a person feel seen and heard and special. And I feel there is no more important nod to that philosophy than weddings, where sure you can just make a wedding film and it will look good, but to truly get this once in a lifetime event and art project something TRULY special!

My story starts the day my Dad brought home a VHS camera he had purchased from a local garage sale. I was about ten years old at the time and remember feeling so excited that I could finally create my own “movies”. Since that time I have always had a passion for creating videos and capturing memories. In the fall of 2019, I had the opportunity to capture my first wedding for a family friend and instantly fell in love with wedding filmmaking.

I create short films from your old home movies and favorite photographs. Process: First, we'll chat and you tell me everything you'd like to share about you or your loved ones featured in the footage. I'll walk you through selecting the photos/videos to best tell your story. You gather all the footage (feel free to outsource to family + friends!) and send to me. And that's it! I take it from there and get to work creating a short film that reflects you + your unique story.

I started Turn the Paige Events in early 2020, right before the pandemic shut down the world. What a time to start an event business, right?
