A little over 2 years ago, I said goodbye to my Nashville life working in professional sports + entertainment to move to Wisconsin and launched a business with little more than a camera and a vision. I'm currently based out of Owatonna, MN but I was born and raised in the midwestern small town of Black Earth, WI — so a little piece of my heart is always in the south since living in SC + TN. As an empath by nature, I feel things deeply and I see the world through smoke-hazed glasses.

Photos are great, but watching my children's first steps years later, or hearing them babble their first words, really dove me into archiving mode and learning to edit. I came to Raleigh back in 2012 to attend NC State University and made Raleigh my permanent home. My name is Gage Horne, the owner of Gage Horne Studios. I started my company in 2019 (officially) but have been doing video work starting at the age of 11. It started as gaming videos uploaded to YouTube, to shooting professional dance films in college, to starting my own Video Production Service.
