Lafayette Greens is a green space and urban garden in the heart of downtown Detroit, next door to the famous Coney Islands and across the street from the fabulous Westin Book Cadillac Hotel. Her home is always open to family, friends and dinners with clients for her wedding coordinating company, Pleasant Surprise Events. Owning a venue is just an extension of what she already loves doing. In May of 2014, she and her husband rented this cute space to host a graduation party for their son and his friends. She walked into the same space in January of 2017 and struck up a conversation with the store owner who revealed that she would be moving. The seed that was planted then has sprouted into the venue it is today. This little space is the perfect spot for your private event.
