“Before we reached out to Jimmy when we were looking for vendors, we were a little hesitant about getting a videographer because people we knew who did get videos of their big day, had very neutral feelings about the final products. However, after coming across Jimmy's portfolio, we found ourselves crying and laughing at videos of couples we'd never met before. That's when we were convinced that we wanted a videographer, and we wanted Jimmy for the job. Working with Jimmy was a fantastic experience! He joined us for a three-day wedding weekend in Hawaii, and an additional day in SF to film us with our dogs. All of our friends and family were so impressed at how he seemed to be everywhere, all at once, yet never felt he was in the way and if they weren't paying attention, wouldn't notice him and his second shooter! We already had high expectations based on Jimmy's previous work, but when he shared the final film with us, we were still blown away and probably watched it a hundred times already. In a couple of minutes we were able to relive one of the best days of our lives, and feel all the range of emotions like we did on the wedding day. The way Jimmy managed to put together the full story made our quiet, simple relationship feel like an epic movie! He was extremely easy to work with and leading up the wedding day, we had no issues with communicating about what we wanted and our vision. The days before the wedding, we realized that we needed to have more coverage on the day of so we reached out to Alex and he had no issues accommodating our request. On the day of the wedding, it went so smoothly and we're so grateful that Alex was very professional. He has definitely done many weddings and knows what he's doing. Our wedding planner coordinated with Alex to make sure we followed our timeline and I can honestly say that I never had to worry about where Alex was or what he was doing. After the wedding, Alex was able to give us our one minute teaser trailer after a week and it was so awesome!! I must have watched it 100 times. We received our 10 minute trailer and 1.5 hour movie 2.5 months after our wedding and my wife and I both teared up watching the videos. They were so amazing and honestly have been on repeat every day since we received the videos. I am amazed at how he was able to edit the films to get the lighting looking great because it was definitely not that perfect on the actual day of our wedding.
