Our venue was originally built in 1942, and used as munitions storage during World War 2. After that, it was repurposed for different industrial uses until the 1990s, when we moved in and set up our antique shop. Thirty years later, the area has changed incredibly and we no longer work in antiques!

Using a from-scratch approach to crafting wood-fired Neapolitan pies, handmade pastas, and traditional Italian specialties, Grana brings the robust "peasant cooking" of southern Italy to Atlanta, Georgia. In our quest to authentically highlight the distinct flavors found throughout the lower Italian regions of Calabria and Campania, Grana is committed to sourcing wholesome, high-quality ingredients from Italy and locally throughout the state. Located in West Midtown Atlanta and built in 1970s, you will be greeted by the history that makes The West Venue the only venue of its kind in Atlanta. For years, the space was used to host congregations until 2003 when it was converted into an event hall. In 2020, the building was purchased and renovated to upgrade with latest amenities to add to its one of a kind character, while keeping original part of the building structure. The outdoor patio hosts a covered stage area perfect for live performers or a buffet. Guests can warm themselves by our outdoor fire pit or enjoy s'mores if you choose to provide such an experience. As a facility rental, we provide tables and folding chairs inside, as well as complimentary parking. All outdoor furniture will need to be rented. Catering would be provided through one of our amazing catering companies we partner with and can average $120 to $200 per guest. Beverage service and bartenders are additional and are provided by the History Center. It is about $65 per person for a 4-hour premium full bar. We have a full property minimum on Saturdays of a peak month: April, May, June, September, and October. The facility rental fee for the Swan Gardens, Atlanta History Museum, and Grand Overlook ballroom on a Saturday is $12,500 and we have an additional $5,500 beverage minimum. Fridays and Sundays are $10,000 with a $2,500 beverage minimum. Most of our weddings can expect to spend between $400 to $1,000 per guest after all vendors and costs are added up and divided out per guest.

Since 1994 we've been a family-owned business. My parents owned and operated a uniform and linen factory that is still in operation today. In 2001, they opened a linen rental business in downtown Chamblee that serviced the most prestigious clients in the Atlanta area. From Turner Field to Bacchanalia we learned the ins and outs of being hospitable to the hospitality industry. In 2016, we sold the business, and in 2017 we renamed the space to Factory Atlanta. The Augusta Room and The Savannah Room both seat up to 50 guests, but the difference is that the Augusta room has a window and the Savannah room is a bit larger.
