I got my BFA in photojournalism at Rochester Institute of Technology and my common sense from a well-lived, full life. I did not not grow up with a camera in my hand knowing I wanted to be a photographer. I started with photography by photographing Punk/Hardcore bands but eventually stopped photographing those shows because I didn't want my camera gear to get broken by someone stagediving. Being apart of that music scene help me cultivate friendships with people all over the world, and gave me lots of travel opportunities. Those experiences carried over into weddings helping me understand real documentary style moments and being comfortable surrounded by new people.
