Convict Lake Resort is a lakeshore wedding venue located in Mammoth Lakes, California. Situated below the peak of Mount Morrison, this venue hosts romantic weddings with scenic views of the 170-acre crystal-clear lake surrounded by tall aspens. Couples can enjoy the breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains, wildflowers, and fall colors as a backdrop for their wedding ceremony. Convict Lake Resort has coordinated more than 500 weddings over the past 20 years.

We are located in the beautiful Washoe Valley, surrounded by mountains, ponds and the greenery of the golf course. We offer everything from set up to break down, you also get a wedding manager as well as an event manager for your big day! We wont miss a thing when it comes to the planning and execution of your wedding.

Mammoth Mountain lies at the heart of a breathtaking range featuring towering cliffs of granite and deep crystal lakes. Guests are welcomed to its bright white slopes for a weekend of wedding celebrations like no other. There are several open-air sites where couples can say ‘I do’ in the crisp mountain air. For a lush summer wedding, the Forest Chapel at Tamarack Lodge provides a serene stage for a magical lake-side celebration amongst tall pines. With so much choice, couples are certain to find the setting of their dreams. Afterwards, multiple reception venues can welcome the party for a cozy evening of dining and fun.

We are a completely outdoor venue that had some renovations completed in June of 2018. The Lake View Patio Facility where wedding receptions are held was part of that renovations. With an unbeatable Lake Tahoe backdrop and breathtaking sunset views any outdoorsy adventurous couple will find that our property has everything they need for their big day!

Sparks Water Bar is a gorgeous new restaurant and the Nevada Home of the Wet Woody®. Opened in August 2021, Sparks Water Bar comprises two floors of the waterfront at Sparks Marina. The second floor features private rooms with floor-to-ceiling windows with western-facing views of the Sierra Nevada mountains and Reno’s sparkling lights. The beautifully appointed event space has access to a wrap-around Juliette balcony and a small private deck in the larger room. Sunsets at Sparks Water Bar are truly stunning, creating a one-of-a-kind location for special events in Northern Nevada. Sparks Water Bar’s menu features all of the favorites from Gar Woods and Riva Grill up at the lake, and of course, the world-famous Wet Woody®.

Don't think grapes can grow in the desert? Well, think again. The Pahrump Valley Winery opened in 1990 and the first vines were planted shortly thereafter. Unfortunately, wild horses thought these young vines were dinner and they fell victim to this herd. Located in the beautiful and wild countryside of Pahrump Valley, this winery offers free tours, picnic facilities and special events throughout the year. The winery has partnerships with various suppliers to make your wedding preparations hassle-free.
