People ask me about Moments with Ada Photography. It grew out of an abundant desire to pay tribute to my late great-grandmother. When i was young, my dream was to be a filmmaker and musician. The art of visual storytelling was captivating to me. When the right image, message, and music collide, it’s pure magic. After high school i moved across the country to pursue a music career. 4 albums, 13 countries, and 100’s of shows later i found myself wanting to be behind the camera, rather than in front. Filmmaking gave me the chance to express myself, while capturing once in a lifetime moments. I had once again fallen in love with storytelling. It’s never JUST a photo or video clip. It’s real people, real emotion, seen through a perspective that otherwise wouldn’t exist.

Video exists in my life as an extension of everything I love about photography. Something drew me to it, and with the ever expanding video modes of my photo cameras, practice became commonplace. Being able to tell storying audibly as well as visually adds a level of depth that is hard to reach within photography. You can feel the story take you through a place in time.
