The aesthetic is comprised of sustainable design incorporating vintage materials with touches of glam. You will find 100-year old barn siding with metallic details which is our way of mixing the old with the new in the most fabulous and complimentary way possible. If you are country at heart but still need to have a little sparkle then The Mohicans Resort is definitely the place for you. We offer a breathtaking wedding venue, 6 lavish cabins and 9 state-of-the-art treehouses in our luxury cabin collection -- three of which were designed by the guys from Animal Planet’s Treehouse Masters. We are tucked away in the woods and offer a beautiful, uninterrupted connection with nature.

“We had our wedding here on 10.26.2024 and it was the most magical, perfect day. The venue/planning team was so kind and responsive throughout the entire planning process (we booked the venue in March of ‘22 so, many questions were asked). The ‘rental room’ they offer relieves SO much stress of trying to find decorations and signage, I highly recommend adding it. The list of vendors they give you is a BIG help, utilize it. Our event manager was truly wonderful the day of, we are incredibly thankful to have had her help. A special addition to having a wedding here is being able to stay in a treehouse connected to the Grand Barn AND have friends & family stay at the venue the night of the wedding. How neat is it that your guests can just walk back and go to bed after a night of celebration and laughter?! I truly could not imagine a more beautiful venue to get married at. Everything exceeded our expectations and we can’t wait to come back and stay again!”

“The Hotel at Oberlin ended up being the perfect place for our wedding. The location is close to pretty much anything you'll need for a wedding weekend. It's within a 1 minute walk to a variety of potential photograph locations (e.g. Hall Auditorium, Tappan Square...) as well as business (e.g. salons, restaurants, cafes) that can help your wedding day go smoothly. There are also a variety of potential ceremony locations within walking distance. We chose the Apollo Theater across the street. The team at the hotel, especially Lauren, was responsive and helpful every step of the way. The chef and Lauren worked together to accommodate a variety of dietary restrictions and requests (e.g. extra entree option, catered lunch and snacks...). They were also helpful with managing the linen rentals, room design, and room block reservations. Guests were charmed by Oberlin and gave us feedback that they enjoyed being able to slow and down and enjoy small town life during the weekend.
