I (Karin) remember how I felt planning my wedding. Things I had never thought about before suddenly became the most important things to me. I researched like crazy and made inspiration pages in my wedding binder (before the days of Pinterest) so I had a clear idea of what I wanted. Above all I knew I wanted the most BEAUTIFUL photos that represented us. And even though we did all this work to find a great photographer, we were so disappointed with our photos. I began my work as a barista when I moved to Chicago from Florida for my BFA. I fell in love with the energy of the city and of my little shop. From drink design to customer service to simple conversations that left all involved with a grin. Sadly, that little shop closed and I decided to make the move from coffee to cocktails. I spent the next year working my way from bar back to main bartender. With my new title came new adventures in event coordination, and cocktail design. Which brings us to today, where I have the privilege of working with couples to create unique drinks that have their guests coming back for more.

I love what I do. I have been singing since age 8 and DJing since 15. I found a way to combine the best parts of music for an amazing wedding experience! People are wowed at the elegance of live music during cocktails as a first impression. Then they are treated to their favorite songs on the dance floor with me as the dj! It’s a perfect balance!

I love coffee. I never leave home without it. I’m easy going. I love to chill. I’m a huge sports fan and I love watching Skip Bayless and others argue on Fox. Basketball was my first love and even in my thirties I still daydream about playing in the NBA. As a teenager, while most of my peers were listening to 2Pac and Biggie, I preferred Marvin Gaye, Al Green and The Temptations. I’ve been told that I have an old soul. At the end of the day I love life, I love my job and my customers always come first.
