My name is Alef, and one of the primary reasons I became a wedding DJ was because I enjoy celebrating love. My proficiency in English, Portuguese, and Spanish has allowed me to participate in a variety of multicultural events. I have over three years of experience and have given my clients a premium audio and visual experience.

We are the Whiskey Raccoons, an Acoustic Duet. We have one original album out (2017) and are releasing a variety of singles throughout 2021. We also play cover songs ranging from the 60s all the way up to today in all genres of music and customize playlists depending on the venue we're playing. We play all over the Midwest USA including Missouri, Illinois, Kansas, Ohio, Indiana, Arkansas, Tennessee and more! We also do many private parties, weddings, receptions and more. A Chicago based DJ that has worked events in Los Angeles, Las Vegas, New York City, Miami, and Internationally. He likes to draw from from his roots in Houston, New Orleans and current home of Chicago to create a fun atmosphere for his clients. Graduate of Xavier University of Louisiana and Tulane University in New Orleans, this former social worker knows a good party.

Bassist and bandleader Josh Levine got his start in the professional music business busking in SoHo with The Flying Neutrinos in ’93, so when NYC shut down in Spring of 2020, he capitalized on his experience as a street performer and began to play regularly in the parks of NYC with percussionist and sonero, Jainardo Batista, renowned flutist Itai Kriss making his debut on Cuban trés guitar, and María Raquel on vocals and minor percussion. Before long, the quartet had generated some buzz, several venues hired them to play outdoors and pianist Gabriel Chakarji and Grammy winning flutist and vocalist Jeremy Bosch became staples of the group.
