A little over 2 years ago, I said goodbye to my Nashville life working in professional sports + entertainment to move to Wisconsin and launched a business with little more than a camera and a vision. I'm currently based out of Owatonna, MN but I was born and raised in the midwestern small town of Black Earth, WI — so a little piece of my heart is always in the south since living in SC + TN. As an empath by nature, I feel things deeply and I see the world through smoke-hazed glasses.

Film has this incredible power to evoke all the emotions you felt that day, on one of the most important days of our lives. Photos are great, but watching my children's first steps years later, or hearing them babble their first words, really dove me into archiving mode and learning to edit. After my own wedding in 2015, & seeing our film, I knew it was my soul's calling. Thousands of dollars and one patient husband later, I get to do work I'm deeply passionate about.

Hello, I am Alexius. I was born and raised right here in the good ole North Carolina. I live in Raleigh now, but I was raised in a small town of "Midway" (right outside of Winston-Salem). I came to Raleigh back in 2012 to attend NC State University and made Raleigh my permanent home. I found my passion for photography about five years ago and still amazed at the places that my little camera has taken me. I am even more amazed at the friends I have made while pursuing my passion for photography and filmmaking.

My name is Gage Horne, the owner of Gage Horne Studios. I started my company in 2019 (officially) but have been doing video work starting at the age of 11. It started as gaming videos uploaded to YouTube, to shooting professional dance films in college, to starting my own Video Production Service. I found true passion in my work when I realized how important wedding videos are. I had already shot 100+ films before my wedding but realized as a consumer how valuable it is. I love what I do and finding intriguing/interesting ways to display those pieces is what keeps me creative and constantly making my films better.
