Ralph Bencivenga, owner and operator, was a Westfield High School student when he began his tenure at the bakery for founder Michael Bove. Bovella’s is no longer simply a bakery. I have been working in the hospitality business since I was 18 years old and have always loved sweets, whether it be baking for my family and friends, creating a candy bar for a special event or just sharing my secret stash of fun dip with my nieces and nephews at various family events. A native of Trinidad and Tobago, Nikisha Williams found her calling to cuisine at a very young age. In the Caribbean, it was commonplace to share large meals with family and friends made from ingredients picked outside your door and seasonal harvest feasts were shared with the entire community. Nikisha learned quickly that good, nourishing food was a blessing meant to be celebrated and she developed a passion for celebrating it.

I decided to take my passion for baking to the next level by creating my own baking business.
