“Mrs. Arlene is the sweetest and most welcoming vendor I ever spoke with. She ensured that all the details for how we wanted the day to go was discussed. She offered different vendors that we could work with. She worked with my tight budget for my small wedding and made our day more special that I could’ve dreamed of. She was consistent with checking in with me which was greatly appreciated since I was planning my own wedding and was super busy with work and everything else. She was there the day of the wedding helping out in all the ways she could, she even fixed me and my husband’s plates so we can sit down and relax. Her team of photographers are the absolute best and were so sweet. Over all the whole experience was amazing and I can’t recommend her enough. She honestly feels like family and on top of everything the venue is beautiful! It’s an 1800 century that they’ve renovated, but kept all of its charm. If you’re looking for a small venue for a baby shower, wedding, birthday party. This is perfect! I am definitely going back for future events.”

We’re John & Jaime Boling, and we turned our corporate blahs into a fabulous dream with Milepost 1808! Growing up on southern farms, we always yearned to get back to our roots. With six years of event planning experience from Greenville Magazine, I thrived on the buzz of big bashes. Then, two years ago, we dove into planning our daughter’s wedding, and bam! I was hooked on the joy of it all! So, we took a bold leap, snagged 30 acres, and rolled up our sleeves to transform our vision into reality: an agricultural paradise, a horse boarding haven, and a stunning event venue! Fast forward to August 2024, and our event barn is finally ready to rock! We can’t wait to bask in all the love as families and friends come together to celebrate. “Milepost 1808 Wedding Venue and Events was an absolute dream to work with for our wedding. From the very beginning, the owners were incredibly responsive and attentive, going above and beyond to ensure our special day was perfect. The venue itself is absolutely stunning, with beautiful ambiance both during the day and in the evenings. The gorgeous views of the countryside were the perfect backdrop for our ceremony and reception. When we had to suddenly change venues due to a hurricane, the team at Milepost 1808 worked tirelessly to help us move everything in just one week's time. Their hard work paid off, as our wedding day was truly magical. On top of their exceptional service, Milepost 1808 is also very reasonably priced. We were even able to take our bridal portraits with one of their gorgeous horses, Autumn, and the results were breathtaking. I cannot recommend this venue enough for any couple looking to have an unforgettable wedding day.”
