We bought out Redbird's garden and restaurant for our daughter's wedding ceremony and reception. Aletha and her entire staff were absolutely fantastic through the planning process and left no detail unturned on the day of the event. Redbird accommodated our special requests and assisted our vendors and wedding planner to ensure everything went smoothly. Guest experience was really important to us and Redbird provided a truly unique and special event for our daughter, husband, and our guests. ... The food was a real showstopper from the canapes to the dinner - exceptional variety and quality! I highly recommend this venue for a special event of any kind.

From the start Gary and Christina took the time to explain how the day would go for our Wedding. We were able to ask questions along the way and truthfully being that we were new to this, they made us feel comfortable by explaining what would work best for our needs and wants. The team ….what can we say they were great. They have from the parking attendants, Bartenders and waitstaff all good people. They were so helpful. We had one of our vendors not show and Christina made a phone call and took care of it. Our experience was eventful we were a little nervous in the days leading up to the wedding our detail itinerary set our day. We could do this alone. We strongly recommend you take a look at The Ranch On Vinton Rd they throw on hair and makeup and a trial it optional but I was able to use it for our dinner rehearsal and was a money saver for us. All in all we had a memorable time and The Ranch.

I must say this space was stunning. On top of that, the customer service provided by the owner of the property was top tier. Definitely a winner in our book!

We had a wedding at Tre Bella in March of ‘24 and it was an absolutely amazing experience. The food, DJ, staff, and day of coordinator were INCREDIBLE. I honestly couldn’t have picked a better venue if I tried. And if I were to do the whole day over again, I would pick Tre Bella again and again. We were a bit worried when Wedgewood bought the property, because we weren’t sure if there would be any major changes. The transition of ownership was very professional and they assured us that everything would be honored. They made wedding planning a breeze. I was never stressed that something was going to go wrong because of how thorough this team was. My guests were commenting the whole night on how great the food and DJ was. I cannot stress enough how amazing my wedding experience was because of Tre Bella and their team. Thank you!

I’ll be having our 10 year wedding anniversary party there one day!!

We had our wedding last November and Fogo de Chão was very helpful in every step of the way. We booked 3 rooms which was perfect for our small wedding. The staff was very helpful as well as the event and general manager. Food was delicious as always. Our ceremony ended early and the manager was nice accommodating our guests a little bit earlier while we got our photos taken. It was such a good experience that now my husband wants to celebrate our anniversary every year at Fogo de Chão.

I got married in March 2024 after working with Newshaw (wedding planner), Jenny Layne Bakery (cake), Christina with Emily Chappell Productions (photography), Michael with CoHost Entertainment (DJ), Lyons Paperie (save the dates and invitations), Hannah with Design Haus (florals), and the Hidden Pines catering team. This vendor team is all in-house through Walters Wedding Estates and I had such a smooth and flawless experience. Because they all work so closely together, I was able to enjoy the wedding planning process and not stress about how vendors would work together. Communication was easy as each vendor was responsive to emails or texts, and they provided such detailed answers to ANY question I had. I know a lot of brides stress about planning a wedding, so I was expecting to experience high levels of stress. But no - this was a breeze and I couldn't recommend this team and venue enough :) Thank you all!!!

We got married at Dobbin St. on March 23, 2019. We fell in love with the space the first time we saw it. The high ceilings, clean lines, and minimalist look were just what we wanted, and unlike anything else we had seen. It was like a "clean" slate that we were able to completely make our own with our choice of flowers, lighting, place settings, etc. The whole Dobbin St. team was amazing to work with - they were with us every step of the way. The whole team there was impressive and the food was truly delicious. My standards for wedding food are pretty low but it was excellent, and many of our guests commented that it was the best wedding food they’ve ever had (and they’d eat it again if they could). The whole team was lovely to work with. So, so glad we got married here!!

Skylark was the best possible venue we could have booked for our wedding reception, full stop. Throughout the booking process, they were always highly responsive and professional. They invited us back for drink tastings, for catering option tastings, and even once got my now-wife and her two friends a table on a crowded Saturday night without a reservation. All in all, the venue itself is amazing. We lucked out and got the rooftop for our cocktail hour which we extended an extra 45m 'til sunset and our guests loved taking photos. The main dance area / bar of Skylark is fashionable, chic, and has a certain vibe that meshed perfectly with what my wife and I were looking for. They also have excellent side-rooms for the wedding party to take a moment to decompress in a cool leather-bound corner apartment with its own bar, bathroom, and changing area. The were a few things that really caught my attention as we were touring for the first time: the downstairs entrance is dark, moody, and intentionally a bit industrial which really helps set a New York vibe. Upstairs, I noticed our tour guide thought the music was a touch too loud in one of the side-rooms, so he immediately tweaked the volume down a notch on their iPad music controls. The drinks were excellent (we opted for the Cherry Blossom Old Fashioned and the French 75 for our wedding cocktails). We also came back to sample the food options (we went for a cocktail-style dinner with phased courses throughout the night), & they were all incredibly delicious thanks to Skylark's partnership with Abigail Kirsch. Lastly, our coordinator was Phil Montana and he is one of the best parts of our experience. He has exceptional attention to detail, coordination skills, and a warm & empathetic personality. I would also like to recognize the staff who were all wonderful in taking care of us & our guests throughout the night. If you are on the fence, I would highly suggest a tour. When we booked, Skylark did not have a ton of reviews either on Zola or on The Knot, so this review is my way of encouraging any readers to give it a shot -- if you are looking for a fashionable, chic New York wedding experience, The Skylark really cannot be beat. I'm looking forward to returning periodically as regular customers as well!

I had my wedding in the winter and what a winter wonderland! The staff was super nice, and very easy to work with regarding all the emails and questions I had. The venue is beautiful, with the ability to decorate how you would like. There was Santa in the square which was amazing especially looking back at my wedding photo's.

I absolutely loved my wedding here. It is such a beautiful venue. The bridal suite is amazing and spacious. The indoor ceremony site was perfect! Very picturesque. The only negative is, the doors for the reception bathroom are small therefore a standard size wheelchair does not fit, it was an inconvenience for my disabled mother having to go all the way to the bridal suite to use the bathroom.

Their response time from initial inquiry paired with the attentiveness throughout the entire planning process and on our wedding day, made it the most memorable, stress free, best day of our lives! From my initial call with Amanda I knew I would be taken care of, and she and her team went above and beyond. Their list of preferred vendors really helped me narrow down my selections from coordination to catering, floral & entertainment and especially knowing that each of these vendors have worked in the space many times before, eased so many of my worries. Amanda helped me navigate that list to find ones that worked with our budget, style and vision. If you are looking for a venue that will go the extra mile with attention to (every little) detail, patience, professionalism and kindness- then you have found your match! Our wedding day was absolutely flawless, and the venue was beyond stunning. The view alone with the simple elegance of the space, made it so we did not have to spend a ton to make a real "wow" experience for us and our guests. Dream Day!

We loved our experience planning/hosting a wedding cereomony and reception at the Armory. The staff were great to work with and the whole event went off without a hitch! The space was beautiful with lighting and decorations. One of the biggest advantages is that the Armory doesn't restrict which caterer you can work with. Many of the other venues we looked at had exclusive contracts with caterers that were many-fold more expensive than the one we ultimately used. Physically, the space we rented is a large performance hall with a stage on one side and a mezzanine on the other. Both are big open hardwood-floor spaces. The space is kind of dark, but looks great with adequate lighting and decorations. The Armory offers some string-lights and up-lights for free, and we also hired a lighting company to add additional lights. We also rented some plants. We had the ceremony on the main floor, then a cocktail hour on the mezzanine during which the catering staff flipped the main floor (we had 140 guests and they all fit comfortably). A live band performed on the stage and the caterer prepped in the backstage area. There is no kitchen so the caterer had to prepare all the food ahead of time offsite. One drawback is that the Armory doesn't allow hard alcohol to be served. Some other pros are that there's a parking lot and a new hotel that opened nearby. Overall, we would highly recommend the Armory, especially if you are willing to mix and match vendors and aren't expecting wrap-around service from a place that does weddings all the time.

If there was a way for me to leave a 10-star review, I would!!! We got married at Georgetown Ballroom and the entire experience from Day 1 has been nothing short of spectacular. From the very first email we sent, we were partnered with Nancy Neyhart to help us execute our perfect wedding, and she went above and beyond. Her commitment to service, communication, kindness, and honesty were so helpful as we planned our wedding. We loved having a single person throughout the almost year-long process that we could rely on and build a relationship with. The venue itself is spectacular. It was colorful, spacious, bright, and funky, all perfect for a March wedding in Seattle where rain was always in the cards. We were able to visit several times, including an impromptu walk-through with our parents to show them the space long before our wedding day. A lot of other venues we looked at would have charged for an extra run-through, but Nancy was so welcoming and even gave our parents the same magical tour she gave us. We also got to visit for a menu tasting which was a fun evening that we turned into a date night. Catering was included in the booking, and the food was fabulous! We went with a taco bar and our guests raved about how different and fun our food was to the average wedding. The price was absolutely fair and in-line with caterers we had been researching before booking the venue. It never felt like GTB was nickel-and-diming us. Every decision was ours to make, with no hidden charges or fees. With Nancy's help, we were able to create the perfect wedding for our budget, our vision, and our guests. We will be singing the praises of this venue for the rest of our lives! Thank you thank you thank you, Nancy and team. You exceeded our expectations in every possible way.

Valentine is our grandest location, and features a flowing 9,000 square-foot site plan designed for private events, courtyard weddings, receptions, exhibitions, productions and live performances. The venue is fully amenitized, and we provide experienced, professional site management, plus a commercial kitchen for client-selected catering teams. Originally built in the 1920’s in an area that has long served as the city’s seafood market east of Downtown, the building has lived many lives in its century of use; it’s been a hotel, a brothel, a fish and oyster company, and a commercial site for everything from glass blowing to marijuana cultivation. This mysterious history subtly informed our re-invention of the space.

We cannot thank Valentine DTLA (and the whole team at Marvimon) for going above and beyond and making sure our wedding really was everything we dreamed it would be! Here is a quick breakdown of how it all went down: We originally found Grass Room on Pinterest and always dreamt of getting married here! We went to visit the venue and loved it, but then they showed us Valentine DTLA and we realized that fit us A LOT more! We were looking for a venue that would "WOW" our out of town family members from NY and NE and give them an experience they could only have in LA! The dining area was laid out beautifully with a projector (that we used to project our seating chart and then play clips from our favorite romance movies while we danced), a historic looking bar that spoke for itself, and a ceremony area that's full of greenery (and the best lighting for posed photos)! While the place was a little out of our price range, we decided to have our wedding for 150 people on a Friday and it was worth EVERY. SINGLE. PENNY. Once we signed the contract, we were put in contact with Dana and her team (Clare and Ariel) who helped us every step of the way and was there to answer ALL of our questions (which were a TON)! They provided us with paperwork that clearly outlined the rules of the venue and gave us a list of recommended vendors that have worked the venue before which helped us out a TON! One thing to note as you're considering this place, you will need to pay for a valet with White Label Valet who were very easy to work with and we HIGHLY recommend having since the area outside of the venue isn't the safest. Also, the venue does have security so there was never a moment where we or a guest felt unsafe. We spent a year and half of planning everything with Dana and her team at Valentine DTLA before our wedding. This included visiting the venue, having meetings in person to discuss the layout of everything, and asking us questions for things we never would have thought of to make sure all of our bases were covered. Dana and her team were so kind, helpful, and made sure we felt good when the day finally came and always checked in to see if we were stressing out as we got closer and to see if there was anything they could do to alleviate our worries. When the wedding day finally came, their site representative and our Day of Coordinator from "Pop the Champagne" (who was a DREAM to work with) made sure our wedding day went perfectly and that all the vendors obeyed the rules outlined in the contract so we didn't have to worry about anything at all! As soon as we walked into the venue, all of the stress was gone and the best day of our lives commenced! It seriously was the best day of our lives and we never felt so loved and that's thanks to Valentine DTLA (and Marvimon)! Even our guests were in complete awe of the venue and had a blast as well! We cannot thank Valentine DTLA and Marvimon enough for giving us the perfect wedding! Now quit reading this review and go book this beautiful venue!

We appreciated the clear outline of the contract, what was included, what we needed to provide and staying on top of the details and ensuring that the day was a success. Roby and his team is amazing and so helpful, their cook and kitchen staff are so attentive and the meal choices was beyond great. My guest all kept complimenting how the food tasted so good and that the bar was on point lol. I definitely recommend having The Venue Fort Lauderdale as your wedding venue it’s an all in one spot and it’s the best spot.

The value is fantastic too - beautiful space and decor at a reasonable price. We felt they really cared about making our wedding vision come to life. Alicia is truly a gem - she made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. Playa Studios is the ultimate wedding venue and acts as the perfect template for your big day. Tucked away at the end of a cul de sac, which keeps your event private to just you and your wedding guests, the venue is incredibly spacious with tall ceilings and tons of striking modern design elements that provide that initial "wow factor" right as you enter. We were also provided a list of modern furniture items that we could use for our layouts, including tables, chairs, couches and planters. The venue is incredibly spacious and provides ample room to be creative with your floor plan and inject any personal touches that you may want for your wedding. The Playa Studios team are true professionals, and they are incredibly easy to coordinate with. The venue is perfect for those who have specific food / drink / vendor choices in mind as well. While guests were in the foyer for cocktail hour, the team was able to seamlessly and silently flip the main hall from the ceremony to the reception while simultaneously working with our vendors to make sure everything was configured quickly and correctly. Given that Playa Studios is used also for commercials and concerts, the sound system installed throughout the venue is top-notch, and the lighting package is an incredible option as well. Music was loud and crisp in all parts of the venue throughout the night - even during the flip between ceremony and reception - and the lighting transformed the ceremony space into something that felt completely new for the reception. Overall, we were extremely thrilled with how our wedding turned out. We received nothing but positive feedback from our friends and family, with many compliments targeted towards how beautiful and modern the venue looked. Would highly recommend going with Playa Studios for your big day.

They have stunning-luxury hotel rooms & suites, a restaurant, bar and lounge space, gorgeous views of the Hudson valley, a cathedral -aesthetic ceremony and reception hall, lush gardens and lawns, plenty of parking, JUST A PERFECT SPOT for weddings and events so travel isn't an issue. This venue was right within our budget and I would recommend it to anyone! For my wedding I’ve dreamed of something small and intimate where my husband and I can really enjoy each other. This was just the place for that!! Also, there were so many beautiful places to get pictures done! Even though it was small with the amount of photos we got back it makes it seem like a huge place! We had the best experience at the Arbory for our January wedding. It was the 3rd space we looked at while planning, and it was clear immediately that it was perfect for us. Our venue rep, Shay, was wonderful and so easy to work with. The venue has relationships with so many other local wedding vendors, and they made it very easy to coordinate all the moving parts. The space was perfect for our 100 guests to move about with plenty of space. The 2 separate rooms make it so easy logistically to do a ceremony into cocktail hour with a room flip, and moving people from one room to the next was no issue at all. So many of our guests loved the space, and said it was so "us". We had the best day ever.

My husband and I were married 9.4.21 at the East Town Ballroom. Cathy and Dee (David) were outstanding, full of knowledge and ready to help whenever needed. Response time was always quick and efficient. The venue offers the option for either an indoor or outdoor wedding, the reception area is large and beautiful with the drapery and lights. The space allows for a number of layouts. The social hour and bar space is great with close proximity but eliminates any crowding in the reception space. The venue is VERY affordable and you don't need to hire an outside caterer. There are options to fit a variety of wedding desires, you can really mold the services to make your dream wedding. I cannot emphasize enough the convenience of having our wedding ceremony, reception and room block in one place. You won't be disappointed if you choose the East Town Ballroom. My husband and I were also able to capture great photos with the skyline from the rooftop parking garage.

We were looking for a unique venue for our wedding. We knew we wanted it to be outdoors and a place for both a reception and the ceremony so that our guests wouldn't have to travel between the two. The Enchanted Manor was the first place we looked at and we both felt that it was the right fit. Georgia has created a little oasis in her back yard that we felt fit our vibe - lowkey, but classy. The playhouse was a great place that the kids could escape to to watch TV while their parents enjoyed the party. We had booked originally for approximately 60 guests, however once all the pieces fell into place we were closer to 50. Unfortunately our guest count dropped below 50 just after our window to let Georgia know, but she was kind enough to offer us the price difference. We applied that balance towards renting some heaters and lighting the fire pits as the weather got colder than anticipated, as well as to handling the trash. (Pay attention to the contract, you are responsible for removing trash or there is a fee.) I appreciated her communication and patience walking me through things - planning a wedding myself was a task that was draining on me! One thing I didn’t realize before booking was that there is space for a kitchen, but it needs to be built out for your event, so make sure you consider that into any costs. Georgia was really helpful and responsive to all of our questions (we had so many) and anything that we couldn’t do she had very reasonable reasons. (For example, at one point I thought I’d like confetti, but she explained why she doesn’t allow that on her property which made total sense!) The weeks before I became worried that there wasn’t enough decor, so we bought some items that we ended up returning. Once the rentals arrived, combined with the lighting, everything was beautiful as it was. We’ve started to see some photos and everything looked beautiful; it was a romantic but relaxed vibe which was just what we wanted. I worried it wouldn’t feel like a wedding, but it did. Georgia was a gracious host, our guests enjoyed her home (we made sure to tell them that they could rent it as well for an overnight getaway) and we can’t wait to start reading her book. We stayed in touch after the wedding and I hope we meet again in the future for events or just a dinner to hear of her adventures! PS - her cats were big hits all around, too!

The Cadieux stage was a delightful space for my recent birthday party. The art deco designs, light, expansive spaces and vintage Detroit photographs make it unique. In addition to the main event spaces, there are a number of comfortable lounges and dressing rooms that lend themselves to all kinds of options. Because the space doubles as a video recording studio, there’s a wonderful range of lighting options. The staff was easy to communicate and work with. Owner Chris Lee bring a personal touch and goes out of his way to help. We would definitely use this space again.

We really appreciated both having both the flexibility of choosing amongst a variety of vendors, as well as the assurance that given their experience with the venue that they'd be easy to work with day of (which was true- we had a very smooth wedding day!). We really appreciated working with Caity, who was very responsive over email and quick to pick up the phone. Our only struggle was in acquiring our parking passes (that was really the mail's fault) and in getting some answers early on regarding external alcohol policies. And I would say be very careful in selecting your caterer, since they'll make or break your experience. But overall I would absolutely recommend the Picnic House to anyone! The price really can't be beat for what you're getting.

From the minute my fiance (now husband!) started looking at wedding venues, we knew we wanted something with a very NYC feel. Tribeca Rooftop was the second venue we looked at and we were sold. We cancelled all our other appointments and signed our contract for a June 2023 wedding. From the beginning of the wedding planning process, Donna was amazing to work with. I asked A LOT of questions and sent A LOT of emails and she always responded in a timely fashion and never made me feel as though I was being annoying (which I'm sure I was being haha). When it was about a month before our wedding, we were handed over to Andrew, who was equally incredible and helpful. On the day of our wedding, we worked with George as our attendant. George was the life of the party, always there to provide us with drinks when we were running low, and will always make sure your lipstick is on and people are where they need to be. George was THE BEST attendant we could have asked for, but I digress... The food: incredible- our cocktail hour was stunning and delicious. SO much food and everyone was raving about how delicious it alll was. The drinks: always flowing and made perfectly! Our bartenders were great and never had people waiting at the bar for their next round. The venue: I mean... STUNNING. Obviously. The staff: amazing! So kind, so helpful, helped really put us at ease throughout the whole process and helped keep our nerves calm on the day of our wedding. Overall: 20/10. Casita is a beautiful and versatile venue. We were very comfortable with 150+ guests, a mobile wood fired pizza oven, gelato cart, DJ & a bar. The courtyard is open and classic looking with a beautiful fountain to which we decorated with greenery and tea lights. The staff was an absolute pleasure to work with and very accommodating. La Jolla Woman’s Club is located in the heart of La Jolla Village, one block from the ocean. With its exquisite private gardens, historic Irving Gill building and ocean view, the club is a magical setting for any special occasion. The club hosts private events such as weddings, non-profit fundraisers, receptions, lectures, dinners, holiday parties, celebrations of life, retreats and educational meetings.

My husband and I got married here in November 2023 and it was a truly incredible experience. I feel like the La Jolla Women’s club is a hidden gem. I had a lot of family and friends coming from out of town and La Jolla is a great part of San Diego for them to come to and stay for the weekend. The venue is close to everything and has a beautiful charm. It is simple and elegant, allowing us to dress it up as we wanted. Our photographer was able to get some incredible photos because the venue has so many nooks and crannies with slightly different feels. The front lawn in particular, has a gorgeous tree (we got married in front of it) and a beautiful fountain in the other end. There are courtyards on either aide of the main building and then the dance floor/dinning room is in the main building. One of the things that is so great about it is that your guests can come to one venue and experience the whole wedding event, just moving around the venue. Also we had a lot of choice about where things happened (the ceremony in front of the tree and our cocktail hour in a specific courtyard). We chose to do dinner inside, but outside could have been an option. Erin, the Events Manager is great to work with! Communicative and provided us solid recommendations for other vendors. I would love to see other people I know get married here!

We are so happy we found Celestine and could host our wedding there! When we first came across this venue, we instantly knew that it ticked all of our boxes. The views of the Manhattan Bridge and the downtown Manhattan skyline are gorgeous, the Mediterranean-style food is fantastic, and the staff is professional and attentive. We visited several times before the wedding to sample the menu and treat friends and family to a great time, and we were consistently impressed with the quality and the service. Working with the Celestine events team, Nisrine, Kirsten, and Krystle, was a breeze. During the entire period leading up to the wedding, we were in constant contact and had several meetings, which made us able to relax throughout the process, knowing that everything was completely under control. We had our separate day-of coordinator who integrated seamlessly with the Celestine team, and Krystle, our Celestine coordinator, on the wedding day. Once the big day came around, we could not have been more prepared and at ease. Everything worked and turned out as beautiful and perfect as we had hoped! Many of our guests have said (and are still telling us!) that this was one of the best weddings they have ever been to, with many of their compliments directed towards the venue, food, and staff. Among all the other wedding venues in DUMBO, Celestine stands out as a true gem. It has everything we could have wished for in a very intimate, beautiful setting that will leave memories for a lifetime and have us coming back for more!

We had a beautiful wedding at Hotel Covington and overall were elated with how it turned out. Riley was easy and professional to work with as our details specialist, but it felt like other staff members were never quite on the same page. There were miscommunications about so many things I can't even remember them all— no space for the groomsmen to get ready in although that was offered at the time we booked the venue, garage parking was not included although we were told it would be, when we showed up for the rehearsal the staff thought we were having a dinner not our rehearsal and was not prepared for us to be in the space as another wedding was going on on the patio, there was an "event hold" above the cost of the room placed on our credit card which would have been fine, but we were not told about it in advance. All in all, not being told what to expect was our biggest issue. Paying for garage parking, not having the space for the groom's party to get ready, the credit card hold all would have been totally fine and reasonable, but it felt like that information was intentionally omitted. (Again, there was more than that, but I waited a little too long to write this review and can't remember it all at this point.) On the flip side, the staff at Hotel Covington were extremely proactive and helpful with my dad, who has mobility issues. They provided a wheelchair for him to use on-site and staff members went above and beyond to help him when he really needed it. I am eternally grateful for the kindness they showed him and our family. We were very happy with the quality at Hotel Covington, but communication was lacking. Our day-of coordinator alluded to more issues, but she was able to handle them instead of bringing me into it. If you plan to have your wedding at Hotel Covington ask LOTS of very specific questions, have your details specialist write as much detail into your day-pf plan, and bring your own day-of coordinator to act on your behalf, and you will have a lovely day.

Mojave is a beautiful venue and we absolutely loved having our wedding here. The design of the space really takes you somewhere that feels “west” to Ohio. The staff was kind, attentive, and very helpful - especially Amber and Christina! 10/10 recommend!

This Victorian treasure was built in the late 1880s, and originally served as the county courthouse. It’s been lovingly restored, and boasts a two-story theater space with an exquisitely embellished ceiling and wraparound mezzanine balcony. In the warmer months, ceremonies may be held in Centanni Courtyard. This airy outdoor space continues the historic feel of the Arts Center with lawns, a large arbor, and brick pathways. Your rental fee helps support the Center’s mission: to educate the community about diversity through the presentation of multicultural arts programs, and to make the center available to artists and groups who may not otherwise have access to a professionally equipped space.

We held our wedding reception at the Multicultural Arts Center in Cambridge, and it was a beautiful venue to host our event. The space was a perfect size for our event with 125 guests, and the ceiling is a showstopper. The building is right on the small city park, Centanni Park, which is such a nice little green space in East Cambridge. The staff was friendly and easy to work with and helped us to create our dream reception. One thing to keep in mind when picking this venue is that you have to select from a list of preferred vendors for catering, and they will need to rent all of the plates, cutlery, glassware, catering supplies etc since the venue does not provide these items. Their list of caterers to choose from is a great list, but the extra cost of these rentals should be remembered when budgeting your event.

How much do wedding & reception venues cost?

The cost of wedding venues varies, with factors influencing cost including size, location, guest count, and, most importantly, whether things like catering and rentals are included. The more a reception venue near you includes, the higher the cost. When considering venues, try to compare prices apples-to-apples. If one venue includes catering and rentals in their pricing and the other doesn’t, you need to figure out how much additional cost those outside vendors would be to make a true comparison. Before booking, be sure you’re aware of additional costs outlined in your contract, like parking fees and weather-related considerations (adding a tent, etc.).

What questions should we ask wedding venues?

When talking with a potential venue, always ask about 1) their availability and 2) their capacity. Some popular venues book up peak season Saturdays nearly 2 years in advance—if your first choice date isn’t available, consider your flexibility on day of the week and year. While maximum capacity is non-negotiable, venues might have guidance on what guest count will be most comfortable. Also, you’ll want to understand what is and is not included in the venue’s fees. Some include catering, tables and chairs, and linens, while others offer just the raw space. These venues are often less expensive because you are only paying for the space itself, and you’ll have to bring in outside vendors
