“I booked Marissa even though she was a bit outside of the geographical region of our wedding, and I’m so glad I did. She did an amazing job with all our hair styles (bride 4 other girls) and was great to work with. Marissa is easy to contact and is responsive. Her contract is easy to follow, and reasonable. I drove to her salon for my hair trial, which I highly recommend. I had an idea of how I wanted my hair styled but wasn’t 100% sure what I wanted. Marissa helped me work through the ideas and created a beautiful style! Before the wedding she helped create a day-of schedule. On the day of the wedding she was on time and ready to go; she even had time to touch up curls as needed. Marissa was super patient and made sure my hair was just how I wanted it. My hair style stayed perfect all day/night. She was a joy to have in our bridal suite the morning of. I was very happy with my experience with Marissa and would highly recommend her as a hair stylist!”

We even had some extra time remaining, and Jackie was able to spend additional time ensuring I looked my absolute best. The second artist who came to help with the bridesmaids' hair was also very kind and professional, though she did seem a bit rushed at times. Some of the bridesmaids hair did not stay and required some extra hairspray and re-curling before the ceremony. “I'd first met Heather at a Rhode Island PrideFest, and instantly saw how much talent she had. Every piece she did looked amazing, her precision was immaculate. I went to her several times over the years, and when my now wife and I began planning our wedding, I brought up the idea of having wedding henna done. My wife agreed, and I knew immediately that I needed to contact Heather. We met up with her at a nearby farm where she was holding a henna event, and she sat with us discussing what we would like done for the wedding for probably a half-hour or so. She sketched design ideas out, which we loved, and made a contract right then and there. Our wedding henna was stunning.
