In 1910, President Taft signed the bill to establish Glacier National Park as the country’s 10th national park. Mr. Healy was given a plumbing contractor for the train depot here in St. Paul, where he met Samuel Bartlett, the architect of many of the railroad depots and Glacier National Park Lodge. Healy then commissioned Bartlett to renovate and enlarge the house. In 1914, the farm was sold to John Healy, the owner of Healy Plumbing and Heating Company of St. Paul. Mr. Healy’s company became closely tied to the Great Northern Railroad, as it provided the heating and plumbing for many of the train depots that were being built around the country at that time. The farm was named Hope Glen Farm, the name of John Healy’s mother’s maiden name of Hope, and the house settles in a Glen, thus Hope Glen.

Hope Glen Farm was the perfect choice for our wedding venue. From the very first communication, the team was clear, detailed, and incredibly personable. They went above and beyond to ensure every detail of our special day was executed flawlessly. The coordination meetings leading up to the wedding, along with the helpful client portal, kept us on track and confident that everything would be perfect. On the day of, the staff was amazingly helpful and attentive - Eryka in particular was a true godsend, keeping us organized and responsive to our every need. The Bridal Bliss decor package they offer is a must, as the venue looked absolutely beautiful and pristine. We couldn't have asked for a better experience, and feel the value we received was worth every penny. Plus a wedding night in a Tree House or Corn Crib Cottage? How can you beat that?! We highly recommend Hope Glen Farm to any couple looking for a stress-free, stunning wedding celebration.

The Madison was an incredible venue for our wedding. From the moment we heard the ownership was changing our hearts dropped. But Brad and Louise were extremely clear and available to answer any and all of our questions (even honored all of our odd/weird requests). On the day of the wedding, they went completely above and beyond to ensure our special day was perfect. The venue itself is open, spacious, and cozy - creating the ideal atmosphere for our celebration. The owners are the most caring and sweet people, and they truly made us feel at home.
