The Yellow House is a historic farmhouse built in 1857 that sits on 120 acres of farmland. The house is a regional favorite when our field of sunflowers blooms in late August and early September. Guests can utilize the interior of the farmhouse as well as the expansive grounds.

The Whispering Trees offers a secluded and private venue that will provide the ideal setting for an outdoor wedding. Our 40X60 open pavilion can accommodate a large reception and celebration with space for dancing. There are unlimited open spaces for guests to roam and socialize without feeling crowded. It sits on land surrounded by an old-growth hardwood forest with oak, cherry, sugar maple, hickory, and ash trees throughout the property. The property is home to deer, wild turkey, and many species of small animals and birds. We have a creek that winds thru the venue and an old covered bridge that serves as the centerpiece of the wedding ceremony area.

Goodell Gardens & Homestead is a botanical garden and arboretum located in beautiful Edinboro, Pennsylvania. We offer a full schedule of educational and cultural events in addition to our private rentals on select dates. We are now accepting reservations for your 2023 & 2024 celebrations! We are currently scheduling tours on Weekends from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Welcome. The Grounds of North Star is located on the path of our Lady of Guadalupe. At the center of the 50-acre farm stands the world’s largest statue of Our Lady of Guadalupe. Mary’s likeness stands 50 feet tall and is covered by over 450,000 mosaic tiles. In front of the statue lies the LAKE OF HOPE, surrounded by the world’s largest illuminated fifteen-decade rosary. Sugar Lake Lodge is a 135 acre estate with a seven acre private lake surrounded by Lake County Metro Parks. It features a gorgeous 6,700 square foot lodge & event center with an 1,800 square ft. private suite fully equipped with kitchen, fire place, and elegant bathroom all with a slight rustic feel. There is also a steam room for guests to unwind and enjoy. In addition, there is a lakefront event center with dual inside and outside fireplaces, and accommodations. For a more remote and primitive experience, there are secluded cabins complete with bathrooms and a pavilion with cooking grills sinks and fire pits amidst beautiful hiking and horseback riding trails.
