Located on 43 acres in beautiful Mill Valley, California, the Ralston White Retreat was designed by one of San Francisco’s most prolific architects, Willis Polk. The retreat was completed in 1913 and was a wedding gift to Ruth Boericke, Ralston White’s bride. He named their home the “Garden of Allah” after a popular novel at the time.

The Mill Valley Community Center is a beautiful and affordable option to host your wedding in Marin County. Just north of San Francisco, the Mill Valley Community Center offers a space that all couples fall in love with. The Cascade Room's hardwood floors, natural light, and vaulted ceilings makes this space customizable to fit every couple's needs and desires. We are also blessed to have one of Mill Valley's treasures, Old Mill Park, as a fabulous ceremony option. A beautiful new addition to that view is the Landmarks Art and Garden Center, a lovingly renovated house and property from Tiburon’s earliest years, that is now a superb setting for weddings and special events.
