I graduated from UW-Milwaukee with a Bachelor's degree in Printmaking. After graduation I moved to the Duluth area and after a few months was hired on by the previous owner of How Sweet It Is, Eileen Brown. I worked for her for a year and half and then took over the business as it's new owner in 2019. Little had I known when I first started the passion I would find for the work. Now at 26 I can't imagine having another career. I love the creativity I get to use from the starting process of baking to completing the cake with design. I get to spend my days utilizing my degree in ways I didn't imagine and enhancing my passion cake by cake.

SnazzyCakes was founded in Fort Knox Kentucky in 2010, uprooted to Fort Bliss Texas and officially opened our cake studio in Duluth MN in 2016. SnazzyCakes was originated from the desire to create individually styled edible art. Each and every cake, cupcake and cookie is freshly baked, uniquely designed and intricately created. I absolutely adore this industry because cake always seem to bring happiness. When was the last time you saw someone eating cake with a frown? Right!
