Our venue is housed in a series of buildings dating back to the 1880’s. These buildings contain rustic elements with a chic industrial ambiance featuring exposed brick, hardwood floors, a pallet wall and visible rafters. Events that take place during the day are complemented by the beautiful view of the world-renowned Clark Bridge and the glistening Mississippi River. Welcome to The Newly Renovated Venue at Stonewolf Golf Club & Event Center! Our Venue is a redesigned masterpiece, capable of handling a wide range of events. Boasting a large event space and a capacity of up to 200 guests, we are honored to host any event you have planned. The Venue has a reimagined bar, a dance floor, and plenty of room for a band or DJ to play. A covered back patio is also available for cocktail hours and socializing with loved ones all night long and comes equipped with outdoor heaters and lounge seating. Looking for the perfect intimate affair? Look no further than our beautiful Fireside Room! The Fireside Room can accommodate up to 50 guests. This space boasts a beautiful bar, two 85" Samsung Smart TVs along with a gorgeous white brick fireplace. The Venue provides different wedding packages to ensure that you don’t have to break the bank for one of life’s milestones. Our staff is also dedicated and will work hard to make your special day perfect!

Construction on the Lake Springfield Postal Club began in the early 1940s. Post office employees donated over 50,000 hours on weekends, evenings and days off to complete the building. A team of horses and a sliding bucket were used to dig out the basement. The Postal Club officially opened in 1948. The total construction cost was approximately $15,000. In 2005, there were only two of the original Postal Club members left. In 2000 the Postal Club merged with the Springfield Firefighters Local 37. In 2001 the firefighters burned down the original Postal Club to make way for a new building. The new club was completed in 2002. The total construction cost was $3.6 million. The clubhouse is surrounded by 5 acres of woods, with boathouses, docks, beaches, parking lot, sidewalks, bandstand, and much more.
