We are a Christian based, family owned wedding venue located in our hometown of Ellerbe, NC! The venue was built for our daughter and son-in-law's wedding in the fall of 2023. It was built as an act of love between an extremely close family.

The front or back lawn of the lodge provide an intimate and regal setting for your event. The Moongate, which symbolizes everlasting love, nestled between The Lodge and The Grange, accomodating 200. The 1820s farmhouse at Rubicon Farm is a charming centerpiece for the open grassy countryside acreage that surrounds the house. Called the Black-Cole House, it was updated in 2005 as a getaway for an active family that loves the outdoors. Now empty-nesters, the couple who owns Rubicon rents this special property out as a venue for an array of special events. Our Niche Turn-key packages at Rubicon Farm are our wedding niche. Our team customizes our couple’s vision of their wedding day, and we do all the set-up and coordination and take down. We plan and execute everything but the reception food and your choice of music, and if you need help choosing those, we are happy to make vendor suggestions.
