And no matter how well a wedding is planned, there are always weird things that pop up as you get to the finish line and during the wedding itself--Tyra handled all of those so my hubby and I could enjoy the day. She had absolutely everything covered to the point that I actually felt a bit guilty about how little I did because, hello, that's my personality. As for Tyra's personality--well, she's the best. Super duper friendly, professional and like a good BFF, not afraid to give it to you straight. Highly, highly recommend. P.S.--This was a second wedding for my hubby and I, and it was a very small group. If you figure you don't need a planner because your wedding is going to be intimate, you're wrong. Trust me when I tell you that you still need someone to coordinate with the vendors, make sure the ceremony musicians aren't dead, talk you through a tuxedo crisis, and literally sprint to jump into your officiant's car, who is lost and driving around the mall looking for the venue. ;)”

These adjectives were exactly what I wanted for our wedding day - someone who can capture our big day, while also finding beauty in the smallest details to the grandest backdrop. When I shared her work with a number of photographers, they quickly identified Erin's work was exceptional. After our first video call, I found Erin so easy to talk to and knew that I could trust her on our big day. When we first started to work with her on our engagement photo shoot, Erin was so fun and made us look so effortlessly beautiful. I was terrified of looking awkward, but she knew all the ways to make us look natural and elegant. Erin was also prompt in getting us our engagement photos since we wanted to share them on our wedding website; many of our friends and family were shocked by how amazing we looked in the DC landmarks. Fast forward on the wedding day, Erin and her team arrived on-time and worked seamlessly with the vendors and the wedding party to ensure both my husband and I can focus on each other. She knew how to guide the wedding party and our families during our photo shoot, making sure everyone looked their best! One memory comes to mind was when a bridesmaid pointed out: "Wow your photographer is willing to get her flats wet in the Portrait Gallery's water scrim so that she can get the best angle of us..." This is exactly what I mean that Erin was delivering top-notch quality service! After the wedding party, family and couple portrait photo shoot, Erin and her team worked quietly in the background making sure they were capturing us perfectly during our ceremony. We also had a tea ceremony as part of our cocktail hour and Erin did a phenomenal job photographing the ornate details of my culture. One of the next most important part of our wedding was the reception - which she took dreamy classic photographs of us, our guests, along with the finer details of the flowers, cake and the whole elegant vibe. It was all so surreal to see the photos captured so perfectly. From Erin's quick turn-around in getting our photos back (less than two months!) to her amazing and positive attitude, I am so relieved and blessed to have Erin as our wedding photographer. Teas was supposed to be in barrels so the kids could custom their drinks with their choice of toppings, however speaking of kids who have so much energy in running around and playing, Kaitlyn suggested the pre-made drinks for them which i believe was a better idea. We had 3 choices of drinks for the kids peach, mango and the chocolate, the chocolate and mango won to the kids taste with popping bobba that explodes in the mouth, they really enjoyed it! And of course the parents and teachers loved it too!! Also on top of that, eventhough the drinks were premade , none of them tasted flat after a few hours of being sat in room temp, still full of flavors!! Definitely a must have caterer in your event, Kaitlyn is really awesome and she listens to every detail.”
