Josh was our DJ and he certainly helped keep the day moving smoothly and everyone in great spirits even though there were little details that went haywire. I would not have wanted any other DJ for my wedding. He did a wonderful job of reading the room, taking cues from myself and my husband when needed, and getting everyone moving quickly when it came time to enter the reception. Roger (photography) and Norm (videography) were quite the pair and always kept us laughing. They did a wonderful job capturing personalities, and special moments, and delivering a wonderful final product! Not to mention, Josh set up beautiful lights in the reception and the room looked amazing! In terms of communication – they were above all the rest. “Wow - the Curate team was an absolute blast! From the beginning, their whole squad made us feel like a priority. Mulitple calls and a detailed, customized proposal to make sure we had exactly what we were looking for. When we initially wanted a band, we came across a few videos from the Curate Fusion DJ and were sold - the best of both worlds! The app that we got to utilize through our entire process was not only handy, but made for a fun part of our planning process. We got to add in walk-up songs, how we wanted to be intro'd, do not plays and must plays, and so forth. Also the add-ons were amazing. We added Cold Sparks, Co2 Cannons and a photobooth -- aka we were ready to get this party started. We worked with DJ Flex who was absolutely incredible. He kept people on the dance floor all night - literally til the last minute possible. I have been to some weddings where people don't stay on the dance floor, and this really was not the case. Leading up to the wedding, they also added on ceremony and cocktail hour music and it was so appreciated that they were flexible with our timing. “Live instrumental music was a special touch we wanted to add to our wedding day and Sweet Harmony made that happen. My now husband and I knew that we wanted to have music for our ceremony to accompany us and our loved ones as we walked down the aisle and it was a decision that we both cherish. Working with Sweet Harmony was super easy. Karen was very responsive and helpful at offering guidance and affirming our music choices. The team was also very flexible with us when we had to shift our wedding (we had three dates in total, spanning a year) and accommodated us with no problem and honored our original pricing. It was such a stressful time but Sweet Harmony didn’t add to any of that stress, in fact I’m grateful that they were so easy to work with when it came to logistics. The musicians were incredible! We ended up hiring a cellist and violinist and their talent blew me away. I didn’t actually get to meet them on our wedding day but they arrived on time, played beautiful music and everyone commented on what a romantic addition it was to our day. I’ll never forget that feeling of walking down the aisle to Beyonce’s Love on Top and then holding hands with my husband as All You Need is Love played in the background. I would highly recommend Sweet Harmony to anyone who wants to add some extra romance to their day and is looking to do so on a budget and with great people. They made selecting our music for the evening a breeze, through their App you can clearly label what songs to play and when. What I loved about their services is that you can choose how much you want to stick to your playlist or let the professionals add songs of their own. You can also mix and match what you need—For a wedding of 120, we selected their 1st package option and then added extra lights and a photo booth. The lights were used to light up our first dance in front of the gazebo outside, I was worried that even with the lights it would be too dark but it was everything I had dreamed of. The photo booth added that extra element of flair toward the end of the night when you needed a break from the dance floor. Our guests couldn’t stop raving about the flow of the evening, thanks to our MC Henry who ushered folks from space to space with his silky voice. Every step along the way they were communicative, easy to work with, professional and fun! We are so grateful we chose them for our special day”
