I'm a mother of 3 adventurous adult kids, married to my best friend for nearly 30 years and I've lived in 3 of the 4 corners of the United States! I drink too much Diet Mountain Dew, I'm a sucker for photos of HUGE family groups at weddings and capturing the perfect 'veil shot' is my dream wedding day moment.

I discovered my love for photography in high school when I received my first camera and I have been shooting ever since. I shot my first wedding in 2010 & since then I've captured dozens of weddings for amazing couples all over North Carolina. I am completely addicted to the happy tears, the heartfelt vows, & the raw joy that flows freely during weddings. I love connecting with couples and documenting all the little moments behind the scenes that might otherwise go unnoticed. To me, being a wedding photographer is about being a visual storyteller & I am so grateful to every bride & groom who has chosen me to tell their unique love story.

I believe in loving and laughing and taking full advantage of the time we've been given. I'm a smile at strangers, hold the door open, start a conversation in an elevator type of girl. But believe it or not, I'm a bit of an introvert as well. I crave solitude, naps and pizza on the regular. But hey, I'm a wife, mom of three teenagers and business owner, so solitude, naps and pizza are like staples for sanity, right? I find my peace in the mountains. I travel any chance I get. And I mean ANY chance. Hot tea gets me excited and I could live in the bathtub or shower. Oh and cheese. If you need to know something about me, know cheese.

Since a very young age I have found happiness in creative activities, and photography is no exception. During high school, I studied Art and Design and learned about composition and color. A friend asked me to join her in an after-school photography class, so I grabbed an old film SLR and learned the process of taking and developing my own photographs using a darkroom. Photography quickly became my favorite medium.

I am a professional wedding line dancer... don't believe me? ask any of my brides~ I am also an amazing dress floofer and will fluff the floof about 900 times if not more during your wedding day! I love all of the animals so bring them... i'm serious, if you have a puppy or pony or anything in between feel free to bring them to the session so I can get my boop counts in for the day!
