The Ladybugs’ varied repertoire of music is enhanced by the enchanting, dulcet tones of voices and trombones. The music we play is a unique blend of genres we call “Dreamy Latin cowgirl jazz.” We combine our love and reverence for the classic Great American Songbook repertoire with the music of our Latin American heritage (specifically Cuban, Colombian and Brazilian) to create a unique sound. Alex Levin has been performing jazz in New York City for more than a decade. His quartet, The Living Room, performed throughout Europe. Alex returned to New York City in 2001 and quickly established himself as an in-demand solo pianist and bandleader.
