“Our daughter was married Sept 2023 and we worked with Yessie for her wedding cake and all the desserts at the dessert table. She was fantastic! Our daughter had a floral 'Alice in Wonderland'-ish wedding and Yessie worked with us making sure she got all the details exactly right for the cake. Our daughter wanted bright floral colors in the desserts with a bit of woodland look. Yessie took all this into consideration and really came thru to execute the look/feel our daughter wanted. Yessie was easy and professional to work with, even coming up with a new macaron flavor that our daughter requested. She was patient with changes and additions. We are in NC, so alot of the planning and design was thru email and messenger and Yessie was always super quick to respond and never let messages sit there for days like some of the vendors. Finally, the look she created was great, but that was nothing compared to the flavors! She knocked every dessert out of the park with her flavors! Everyone commented on how good everything was! She really cares about each person she works with and will go above and behind to make your vision a reality!”

I also believe the wedding cake and/or desserts are one of the most important components of a wedding reception. Many guests say "I'm here for the cake!" in jest, but there is definitely some truth behind that statement.

“I’m so glad I went with Happiness 101 for our wedding in October of 2025. I reached out requesting an artistic and romantic cake with colors of purple, blush, and white and she communicated back giving more ideas that further elevated the cake in the most perfect way. I also had her design our groom’s cake where we sent a guitar picture and she replicated it as a cake beautifully and well detailed. For taste, there were so many options and you really couldn’t go wrong with any of those options. She was even able to do a mashup for me so our wedding cake was a delicious lemon almond flavor. Our grooms cake was Black Forest which was a great chocolate option with a tart cherry filling that was gone within minutes at our wedding! We loved our cakes both visually and in taste and we would definitely recommend Happiness 101 for all your event’s sweet treats!”
