I have studied fine art photography long before I ever started taking portraits of other people and shooting weddings. Fine art photography was my beginning, creating conceptual and authentic art that spoke to me and told my story was what I started with and then I started blurring that line between fine art and documentary. I started documenting other people and their lives in the same way that I created my own work intended for shows and galleries. That is how I came to the style that I shoot now, still blending the two parts of my life.

I grew up in Eastern Europe — technically Moldova. I have always had a natural eye for photography. In my youth, I often looked out at the landscape and thought of ways to capture its uniqueness and beauty. Eight years ago, I began taking wedding photos as an assistant, and studied under my mentor, a well-known photographer and cinematographer. I learned to take my natural eye and transform that into a journalistic style of photography. Over the last five years, my focus has been on being the best Boston wedding photography. I first took up photography when I was 10 and have had a camera in my hand ever since. My first paid photoshoot feels like a million years ago. I think I was 14!
