I first heard Gerald play at a friends rehearsal dinner (sadly after I already hired my wedding band), and knew immediately I needed to hire him for my rehearsal/ wedding welcome drinks. I wish I could go back in time and hire him for my wedding night- I kid you not- and I will regret that I didn’t forever. Not only is he an awesome musician, but Gerald is truly the nicest man you’ll ever meet. Because I’m a last minute person, I think I asked Gerald maybe a week or so before the event to learn a special song for me, and without any issues or hesitation, he did and he killed it. “We hired Elevation Band for our Wedding at the Kimmel Center on 5/18/24. I could write a novel on how amazing they were but will try to keep it brief. They are professional from start to finish (Lea was awesome to work with) and make your entire night from ceremony to cocktail hour to reception of the highest quality. The band is the perfect mix of amazing vocalists who complement each other so well and other top quality band members. The dance floor was packed all night to the extent the dance floor was shaking at one point. The ballads at the beginning of dinner service were breathtaking. We had multiple people come up to us saying they didn't know we were having Adele at our Wedding (shoutout to Emily for her amazing ballad). I could write something on each member because they are that good!! We knew we wanted an awesome band as that can make your wedding and Elevation did not disappoint. Our ceremony sounds was absolutely perfect and the microphones were sooo easy to use and captured all the sound perfectly. Jon was great at making announcements, (even though it wasn't planned) like when he had to tell people to go to cocktail hour. We also had a photobooth package with him and the attendant did such a great job running the booth. It was definitely the most popular event and our families still raves about the pictures they took!
