We had always wanted to move an old country church and renovate it into a living space. We found that historic churches do not come up for sale often and probably not acceptable to walk up and say “we want to buy your church”. Rob decided to design our own church and drew the plans for what was to become our first lodging venue called “The White House on the Hill”.
