Our location is on 12.6 acres of land on the Little Applegate River. The property is home to a small winery and tasting room, Wild Wines, and residents. The wedding ceremony location is perched above the river under the shade of large cedar and oak trees, but you may also choose your preferred location anywhere on the property. The celebration area is around the winery where the bar and bathroom can be accessed and where food service and seating can be set up, as well as electricity. As we are primarily an outdoor venue, we ask that you please keep this in mind before requesting to connect. Depending the time of year, you may require a tent for shade or rain protection. This is not something we provide, but we are happy to refer you to local outfitters. The main indoor area is the tasting room, seen in photos, which is best suited for the bar area, hors d'ouevres, gifts, cake service. Some of the outdoor area has shade available.

We were constantly discovering little finds, over 200 1880's old glass bottles buried on the grounds to the headline clad 1915 newspaper lined walls in the main house. It’s been part remodel and archeological dig. Now it’s ready to host events & make fresh memories for decades to come. A few years ago we were lucky enough to add 20+ acres of open meadow lands & forest contiguous to TKO for events & glamping and built an amphitheater by Indian Creek in the woods. We can host up to 100 and have have 12 bedrooms in three fab houses, plus glamping tents. Julia Morgan was a world renowned female architect who designed more than 700 buildings in California. She was the first woman admitted entrance to Beaux-Arts De Paris, the most prestigious architectural school in the world at the time and in 1904, Morgan became the first woman to obtain her architect license in California. In 1922 she did an extensive remodel of property, while concurrently working on Hearst Castle. This included adding the Conservatory, the present day Sky Suite, the Fireplace mantel in the Ballroom, and more. To preserve her legacy and beautiful additions, the Lewis' honored all of Morgan's original designs since restoring the home from 2016-2019.

Blackbird Farm operates as a Farm Stay Inn that hosts weddings, corporate retreats, vacations, and other events throughout the spring, summer and fall months. The island is perfectly set-up for your walk down the aisle to say your vows, with room to seat up to 200 guests. Surrounded by the beauty of the blue-green waters, you’ll find this to be an idyllic site for your wedding ceremony. For the ultimate in dramatic entrances, consider a trip around the lake in a horse-drawn carriage for the bride and her father. After the ceremony, a cocktail hour can take place on the spacious grassy area nearby, then the reception can be held at the Pavilion or Vista Point, or arrange for a tent to enjoy the evening under twinkling lights amid Yin Ranch’s lush scenery.

Pacifica: A Garden in the Siskiyous, offers a very special setting for your wedding. With 500 acres of conserved land in the beautiful Williams/Applegate Valley, we offer you the use of both outdoor and indoor facilities for your ceremony and reception. The Wedding Garden, Pacifica’s outdoor site, overlooks a large pond and meadow. This site has three grassed tiers for chairs with a beautiful view of Grayback Mountain. The indoor site, our large and welcoming climate-controlled (heat, a/c, smoky air filtered) Great Hall, has hardwood floors for dancing. It also has a spectacular floor-to-ceiling 16 foot wide roll up glass door that allows you to still feel as if you are outdoors, even in colder weather. The Great Hall holds up to 150-200 people; the lovely covered pavilion just outside the door can hold another 100. Changing rooms for bride and groom, a small prep kitchen and large indoor, handicap-accessible restrooms are also available here.

We started the Chestnut Grove Event and Wedding Center in pastoral Brownsville California with the goal of providing premium service.
