Inside we also have a Hall that seats around 175, two bars and a game room. We can do as little or as much as you would like. The rural country feel is the only way to go for your wedding!

Why you'll love this venue

  • Versatile for various event styles
  • Bridal suite on site
  • Rustic yet refined style

Venue considerations

  • Does not have a dance floor
  • On-site parking not available
  • No on-premises lodging options
We wanted to have a wedding that was outside the city with a country setting. We also wanted to have more room to ourselves and not be stuck in a tiny room for our dinner. This was the perfect place. We got to use their ballroom for our dinner and we had a private bar. They also let us set up some decor on their patio which was connected to the ballroom. I could not have asked for it to go any better. I would do it all over again if I could! Just kidding, planning a wedding sucks but we had a great time at their venue!

They had the entire day's schedule and vendor coordination planned out for us, and helped move any decorations that needed to be relocated. We seriously cannot recommend Hamlet Creek enough. They were so easy to work with. All of our emails were answered so quickly which helped immensely during the planning process. The weather was looking poor for our day of leading up to it... Chris offered to flip the entire room after the ceremony to allow us to take pictures inside in case it rained. We can't emphasize how accommodating they were; not to mention the venue itself is gorgeous!

My name is Brittnae with Lush Events and I am a wedding planner. I have utilized Cambium Barn multiple times and each time it was the perfect location. My most recent couple were having trouble finding a location for their wedding when the bride's father ended up in a coma before the wedding which was to be at his home. He recovered in time for the wedding but caused alot of uncertainty in the mean time. Choosing Cambium Barn saved their day and allowed me to relieve my couple from more stress. I was happy as well that the location offers an Air BNB as the mother of the groom and the older grandparents were able to stay at the air BNB and did not have to be rushed to get there allowing both sides to feel comfortable and just enjoy the day. I love working with Britney and would again in a heart beat.

He coordinated with our vendors which removed a lot of stress for us. I can imagine that the planning process would have been much more difficult if there wasn't someone like Jonathan to help us through it. The reception ran smoothly and the waitstaff were great as well.

Around the loft there are several outdoor cottages that can be used for many different functions including food stations and more. The Grain Loft is a wedding and event venue in Algoma, Wisconsin. The Grain Loft is the essence of industrial elegance and offers a modern edgy vibe and beautiful views for all your events.

Why you'll love this venue

  • Private area for the wedding party
  • Pets can join the celebration
  • Provides a dedicated team on-site

Venue considerations

  • Not wheelchair accessible
  • Limited cleanup and setup services
  • Not for you if you don't want a rustic vibe
We loved having our wedding at The Grain Loft. The property is beautiful and it is kept in pristine condition. The ease of having the ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, and dance all at one place made the wedding far less stressful. There was plenty of space for the kids to play outside, have yard games set up, walk around and enjoy the landscape, or hang out on the patio and chat. Guests were in awe of the beauty of the property. We also loved spending the weekend in Algoma. So many hidden gems. Thursday we had our rehearsal dinner at Three Eleven Bar & Bistro, which was excellent. Friday we had a "welcome event," for guests staying the weekend, at Son's of Skaliwags where we hosted a traditional southern shrimp boil. We had so many compliments on the food! The wedding was Saturday and on Sunday we met friends and family Smashed on the Rocks for one of their massive bloody marys! It was a perfect weekend and we can't wait to spend more time in Algoma (the gateway to Door County & a best kept secret)! Couple of things I was not a huge fan off... The venues' wedding coordinator was difficult to work with at times. Her communication style was abrasive when challenged or asked for further clarifying details. For example, my wedding planner asked for a bottle of water (prior to when the open bar started) during the preparations, and she was told she would have to purchase it. Mind you, we paid for an open bar for the duration of the entire event, costing us over 6,000.00... and they couldn't give the wedding coordinator a bottle of water. Come on now, that's just tacky and poor customer service. Another thing worth mentioning.... There is no bathroom off of the bridal suite upstairs. Therefore if the bride needs to use the bathroom before the wedding, you have to walk into the main area where guests are gathered. Not ideal, but certainly not a deal breaker. Incidentals. I was required to give my credit card for "incidentals" that would automatically be charged to my card at the end of the night. I don't think this is appropriate. If there are incidentals, I should be allowed to review a bill of such items and then make the payment following any necessary discussion. Thankfully we were not billed for any incidentals, but if a guest had broke something, I was told I would have been automatically charged.
