The August Hill Winery Tasting Room is the perfect place to host your next event. Three areas of our Tasting Room are available after business hours to host your private party. Guests can mix and mingle in the Tasting Bar, be seated comfortably in the elegant Lounge (open to guests 21 and over), or enjoy the sunshine (or be sheltered from the elements) on our three-season Patio. Our patio is also available for private events during business hours. We can happily accommodate your small party (10-20 people) during business hours on our three-season Patio or in our beautifully contemporary Lounge.

Throughout the years the building has been home to local businesses providing service to Galesburg, Illinois, and the surrounding Knox County area. When plans for renovations came about the space was envisioned to be somewhere you can host any type of event. From weddings to class reunions, holiday parties, galas, and meetings for private use. Ottawa, IL is home to The Lone Buffalo, our first restaurant and the home of our original craft brewery. It’s also home to our hops and barley farm, whose crop we use to create our authentic Farm to Foam beers. At the heart of the Lone Buffalo are the large twin copper brewing kettles, imported from Bavaria, and admired and enjoyed by fans far and wide.
