I had no idea I had the possibility of making it my career as I documented my friends skateboarding on my mother's 35mm point and shoot when I was 13. My art teacher in high school led me to an intense BFA program at Lesley where I dedicated more time to the darkroom than I did to sleep. Alongside fine art projects, I took it upon myself to start freelancing, and shot my first wedding at 20. I learned from experimenting, and I learned to never stop experimenting. They wanted to give me an outlet for it, so they enrolled me in a college art course. And you know what? I was pretty terrible at most of it: the painting, sketching, sculpting. I loved it all, I just wasn’t very good.

The Chicken Slacks are "Boston's Hardest Working Classic Soul, Funk, and R&B Band"! We consist of 7-members and when we play weddings or other events we include a sound engineer with some stage lighting. We also provide other services for an extra fee. We held down a 15-year residency at The Word Famous Cantab Lounge in Central Square, Cambridge, MA before the 2020 pandemic. Not only am I the band's client relations manager, I also play saxophone and am the band's emcee. These are my ALL-TIME favorite genres to perform and The Chicken Slacks have mastered the art of re-invigorating these special genres.
