    Lake Natoma Inn

    5.0

    Folsom, CA

My new husband and I cannot say enough wonderful things about the Lake Natoma Inn as the venue for our wedding. The communication with their team was superb and responsive every step of the way as we planned our big day. The inn itself provided a gloriously beautiful and welcoming backdrop for our ceremony and reception. From the rehearsal dinner that went off without a hitch to the gorgeous floral arrangements and delicious cuisine, it was evident how much care and attention they put into ensuring a seamless event. The entire wedding team and hotel staff were consummate professionals who still made us feel like family. They went above and beyond to actualize our vision and make every last detail perfect. We are so grateful we chose this venue to host the most magical day of our lives!

        Walnut Grove, CA

My husband and I were thrilled with our wedding venue, Grand Island Mansion. From our very first interaction, their communication was clear, concise and timely, which really put us at ease during the planning process. The venue itself is simply elegant, beautiful and pristine - the perfect backdrop for our special day. Everything from the floral arrangements to the table settings exceeded our visions of grandeur. The staff were always on time, available whenever we had a question, and so gentle and accommodating. We couldn't have dreamed up a more magical location to celebrate our marriage surrounded by our closest friends and family. Grand Island Mansion really ensured our wedding day went off without a hitch. We'd highly recommend them to any couple looking for a one-of-a-kind venue with exceptional service.

          Tenaya Lodge

          5.0

          Fish Camp, CA

We had SUCH an amazing experience at Tenaya Lodge! We planned a winter wedding for February and, being from SoCal, it was a bit of a destination wedding for ourselves and our guests. The day went SO seamlessly and the staff were honestly one of my favorite parts of it. Starting with the moment we checked in for the week, everyone from the front desk staff to the waiters at our rehearsal dinner and wedding were so professional, kind, and excited for us. They really added to the experience. The facilities themselves are gorgeous. We got married on the terrace, surrounded by the view of the mountains. My husband and I took a little hike through the grounds with our photographer, it was so fun! Our guests RAVED about the facilities and had so much fun - many of them coordinated family day trips into the park. Some of our classy guests who are used to high end travel were very happy with the service and quality of the resort, restaurant, and bar. Many of our guests were traveling with small children and they also found it a really positive wedding experience - they were able to stay at the wedding all night and the kids had a blast. Some families stayed in the cabins and enjoyed that experience as well. The local vendors are awesome. The only caution I would warn new brides of is to OVER communicate during the planning stage. The wedding brochure is slightly outdated and doesn’t always have complete information. For example, we got caught having to pay an extra 700 to upgrade our meal package to include a third entree after we found out we had more than the allowed number of vegetarians, even though the brochure states that guests on a vegetarian or special diet will be accommodated, and does not state that there is a limit to the number of vegetarian/special diets. I would also encourage brides to use a wedding planner. As a type A person, I thought I could plan the wedding myself. However, the venue hosts many events and the venue coordinator does not always have extra time to really help you plan your dream wedding the way a planner can. Especially if you don’t live locally, you will really benefit from a planner who has worked at the venue before. Overall, we and all of our guests were super happy with our experience at Tenaya and would like to thank all the hard working staff who made our dreams come true!!!

We had our wedding reception here on 4/13 and we loved how it turned out! The staff was amazing and helpful day of our wedding. The price is very affordable especially for such a large hall. Definitely would recommend to anyone going the cheaper route (:

                  Newcastle, CA

Our wedding was 5.4.24 and was one of the best days of our lives thanks to everyone at Gold Hill Gardens. From the friendly service, attention to detail, extra decor, gorgeous house, beautiful venue spots, and everything in between. Even with rain and a massive hail storm, we were able to have so many options for our ceremony and reception and Mike even checked in on us! Oceano Hotel & Spa Half Moon Bay Harbor

                    5.0

                    Half Moon Bay, CA

We cannot say enough good things about our wedding and the staff at Oceano. Our main point of contact was Nancy, and I honestly don’t know what we would have done without her. Aside from the beautiful venue and location, Nancy was a huge selling point for us selecting Oceano. What we loved most: - The flexibility - ability to customize a lot - for example, we brought in pies to be served with cake. They didn’t charge us for people that didn’t end up showing, even though they had RSVPed yes. The hotel block policy is amazing - they hold the inventory for you without having to put a deposit down, and then any rooms not booked a month prior are simply rolled back into inventory. - The organization - it’s clear that Oceano does weddings, and does them well. - The value for money - first off, it’s an upscale venue for not all the money in the world. Secondly, what you get when you book with them is so worth it! Includes your typical stuff but then will include a night prior and night of the wedding stay. In addition, Nancy is always trying to find ways for you to SAVE, not spend. We loved, loved, loved Oceano. It such a magical and special place for a wedding.

Mara and her wedding planners did a fantastic job making sure we got our dream wedding. Their combined experience and knowledge steered us in the right direction, guided us and gave us insight so our day could go off without a hitch. We had so much fun and get exactly what we wanted, at a reasonable price. Highly recommend this gorgeous venue by the river !!
