We had the most incredible wedding day all because of the knowledgeable and efficient people at the Tapestry House. They work with you to stay within your budget while making sure your day feels luxurious. They take care of literally everything, I never felt overwhelmed during the planning process. Wedding day came and our day-of coordinator made sure everything went smoothly, if there was any issues we have no idea about them. I will always recommend the Tapestry House, not just because of the beauty of the venue but also how easy it is to work with the people there!

Black Canyon Inn is a wonderful wedding venue! Their team is fantastic and truly cares about each wedding. Additionally, their location is stunning. Their space gives the feel of being inside Rocky Mountain National Park but it's better because it is weather-friendly and lets guests stay on site! I love working at this venue!

My husband and I got married at the Mishawaka in June after a long engagement. Gary, the event coordinator, was amazing! I planned the wedding by myself so I had a TON of questions; Gary answered them quickly and kindly and never made me feel like I was bothering him. The event staff at the Mish were accommodating and helpful on the day of the wedding. Our outside wedding turned into an inside event quickly when it started to rain. Meg and her crew were able to pivot and set up the inside for dinner quickly, and when dinner was over and the rain stopped, they just as quickly pivoted to make sure the outside was ready for dancing and the rest of the evenings festivities. The food was delicious, the views and scenery were stunning, having a rushing river and a staggering mountain ridge in the background of my photos is so gorgeous. We got beautiful pictures by the river, and the lighting in the canyon was perfect; no sun in anybody's eyes. Not to mention, The Mishawaka offers a shuttle service, so I knew that all of my loved ones would arrive back in Fort Collins safely after a night of dancing and libations. We had 90 guests, but the outside event space could accommodate many more. The "Confessional Lounge" was a perfect place to do speeches. The sound set up/lighting was perfect for the live band, and after all was said and done, it was affordable! We got married on a Monday, so the price was lower than that of a Saturday, but even the weekend rates were not outrageous. I am so happy we got married at the Mish! And now we can go back for future anniversaries and have a beer by the river - this is not true of most event spaces! Thanks Gary and Meg!

Timing is everything when planning your Colorado wedding. Start with your venue 13 months out - that's 390 days before your big day. Your photographer and wedding planner should be next on the list about 10 months ahead. Most other vendors including your florist caterer and videographer need about 9 months' notice while hair and makeup artists typically want 8 months' heads up. Planning a fall wedding? Book even earlier since September sees the highest demand.

Which Colorado Mountain Regions Offer the Best Wedding Settings?

You'll find perfect settings year-round in Colorado's mountains. The Grange shows off spectacular fall colors with its aspen groves while Della Terra lets you host cozy outdoor ceremonies with snowy peaks as your backdrop. Spring brings wildflower meadows at Wild Basin Lodge and summer celebrations shine under Balistreri Vineyards' pergola-covered patio. September proves most popular combining perfect temperatures with reliable weather.

How Do Denver Wedding Venues Compare to Mountain Locations?

Whether you're drawn to city sophistication or mountain majesty Colorado's got you covered. Craftwood Peak puts you face-to-face with Pikes Peak while The Simon offers industrial-chic style with Denver skyline views. You can celebrate in the historic Kirk Of Highland or surrounded by Garden of the Gods' stunning red rocks. City venues like Rooftop1630 deliver urban views while mountain locations connect you directly with nature.

What Weather Contingencies Do Colorado Venues Provide?

Colorado venues know how to handle whatever weather comes your way. Mount Vernon Canyon Club keeps you connected to the views through its glass-enclosed reception space while Church Ranch Event Center offers multiple indoor ceremony spots with mountain vistas through massive windows. Want a winter ceremony? Ashley Ridge has heated outdoor pavilions and Meadow Creek Lodge keeps everyone comfortable with covered walkways between venues.
