You'll have access to a pre-function lobby area and dressing rooms along with lots of amenities like a projector, wireless internet, stage, podium, professional sound system, and microphone. When you select either our Grand Olympian Ballroom or our Vivian Ballroom as your private event venue, you will be getting the country club experience without the country club price tag.

Glass House is a unique event space in the North Loop of Minneapolis located inside the facility of Hennepin Made, a local company founded in 2011 drawing on traditional glassblowing techniques to craft hand-blown accents that blur the line between everyday object and modern art. The space’s original concrete floors, cinderblock walls, and steel beam construction have been re ned and accentuated by modern elements to create a beautiful backdrop that blends past and present. Our building at 147 Holden Street was constructed in 1955 as a glass warehouse and mirror manufacturing plant for the Ford McNutt Company. Hennepin Made acquired the property in 2016 from Brinn Glass in order to expand their operations and grow their vision to connect people through craft. Thus, Parallel Cafe + Holden Room were created.

The park was originally named Douglas Triangle for the street on which it is located. The name was officially changed to Mt. Curve Triangles (plural), on November 4, 1925, when the previous Mt. Curve Triangle was renamed Fremont Triangle. The park was officially named in honor of Thomas Lowry in 1984. Lowry is best known for developing the street railway system in Minneapolis. The Lowry Hill neighborhood, in which the park is located, was named because he owned most of the land and built his imposing mansion on the hill.
