Named after a 1932 jazz standard, Street of Dreams Jazz Band from New York City is a vintage jazz and swing group with a lush, romantic sound. Cole Porter, George Gershwin, Duke Ellington, Irving Berlin, and Hoagy Carmichael are a few of their favorite composers. Listeners will be transported back to the era when swing was king in NYC.

Dave Wilson is a leading jazz saxophonist, recording artist, band leader, composer, and educator in the Central PA/ Delaware Valley area, with a regularly active venue and festival schedule as both a leader of his own contemporary jazz groups and as a sideman. I am active playing at concerts, festivals, restaurants and private events in Central Pennsylvania, and play or have played in Philadelphia, Washington D.C., and New York City. I am also a recording artist and have produced six CDs as the Dave Wilson Quartet, which have received national airplay and been reviewed favorably in major publications.

Inspired by neo-soul greats like D’Angelo and Erykah Badu, Fake Tapes is all about the pleasure principle. Lead singer Kyla’s voice zig-zags assuredly above mischievous harmonic twists and sharp, understated grooves as she spins oblique stories of heartbreak and hope in New York City. Their debut, self-titled EP was released in December 2018 and is available on all major listening platforms. A&R Factory said Kyla “doesn’t hold much restraint when it comes to saying what’s on her mind… and that’s just one of the reasons why her approach is so refreshing.”

The Evergreen Jazz Band embodies the essence of vintage jazz especially in the style of Billie Holiday.
