We absolutely loved having our wedding at The Pines Resort! Their communication style was clear, quick, and left lots of room for us to get creative in the planning process. The venue itself is gorgeous and all-inclusive, with beautiful minimalist decor that created the perfect backdrop without added stress. Brittany, their phenomenal on-site wedding planner, made everything so easy by connecting us with vendors they frequently work with who understand the venue and their approach. We felt empowered to get creative with alternatives when we wanted to make the day our own. With the venue and planning taken care of, we could focus on each other and our love. The Pines Resort receives 100/100 stars from us and we cannot recommend them highly enough for your special day!

I had a backyard wedding in 2020 due to COVID cancelling our big plans. We went forward with having a reception a year later, and I booked Paola for my wedding day glam! When she did my trial, it brought me to tears because it was the first time I truly felt like a BRIDE. She is so sweet, professional, and fun! I will definitely be booking her for future events.

Hey!! Thank you for stopping by my page! I love to photograph weddings, but more than anything I like getting to know my clients, their families + their chosen families. I attract many LGBTQIA+ couples because I am an out and proud lesbian and I happen to have the most amazing wife. When I was planning my own wedding, there was a lack of representation in the wedding industry and I knew I needed to be a champion of love. Whether you are apart of the LGBTQIA+ community or you are an ally, I am happy to have you here. Tell me your love story + let me show the world how magical it is.

For any queer couples planning their weddings, do yourself a favor and book Michelle IMMEDIATELY. It was a priority for us to book vendors who worked with queer couples and featured them prominently in their portfolios. We wanted to ensure we were working with people who knew the specific anxieties that come with planning a queer wedding. Michelle not only understands these feelings, she seeks to fill a gap in the wedding photography world. We can’t count the number of wonderful things we can say about Michelle. She is so organized, kind, patient, understanding, and most importantly, a wizard behind the camera. We knew we wanted to book her from the very first consultation. Working with Michelle on our wedding day was an absolute dream. She and her second shooter, Kate, navigated our crazy venue beautifully and kept everyone ahead of schedule (even when certain family members showed up 20 minutes late to a portrait session). One of the most special parts of our day was running around our venue with Michelle after our ceremony for sunset portraits. She knew what shots we wanted to get while still leaving room for spontaneity. We received sneak peeks of our wedding photos mere DAYS later, and are in complete awe of what she captured. We could not recommend her highly enough. Michelle, thank you again so much for everything, truly

He was super flexible and and took photos for a post-wedding shoot in Yosemite, showing us all the greatest spots. We are so happy we had Trees & Seas to capture our wedding. Plant lover, dog mom, croc rockin', beach cruisin', online shopping photog. You might catch me watching Emily in Paris while snuggled next to our giant lap dogs Lulu and Buddy or traveling the world to inspiring places with my husband (and best friend) Audie. I studied photography at the Academy of Art University in my favorite city by the bay, San Francisco. I continuously develop and modernize my knowledge and experience by utilizing my member resources provided by the Professional Photographers of America (PPA) Association.

I had the great pleasure of working with Nicole for an event at Kings River Winery in Dec. 2021. We had a pretty complicated family situation during this event that could have caused issues for the timeline. But Nicole was able to help keep the bride moving and calm. And kept up with the timeline like a champ! Rolling with the punches is such a great trait for a wedding vendor to have because events can take on a life of their own. Nicole was able to keep up with the events needs and still completed her job fabulously. Additionally after the event she was lovely enough to send over a vendor gallery that does wonders for other business. Which shows her understanding of the nature of our industry, her care for others and her ability to work well with others. If I could give more stars I would!

Tess and the rest of the China Peak crew did an exceptional job at our wedding. On the day of my wedding, we realized the rental company forgot to deliver the chargers for the table settings. Tess sent one of her employees all the way to Fresno and back to get them and made it all seem like it was no big deal. Also, I tend to be a little camera shy and Tess did a great job of making me feel comfortable and directing us in a way to get great photos!

My husband and I decided to have a short engagement so finding this venue was a heaven send. They pretty much have a vendor for everything minus a photographer. We decided to go with another cake vendor but that was based off preference. Going with an all inclusive venue made planning a wedding in less than 4 months a breeze. The food was amazing and all the staff we worked with was very personable, helpful and professional. They were very responsive whenever we had questions or concerns and our wedding day went beautifully. Highly recommend!

My name is Freddy and I am a Documentary styled photographer based out of Fresno, CA. I have been doing photography since 2018. I found my passion in wedding photography by watching romantic love pieces. I love to make my photos feel as if they if they forever freeze time in a picture that will last you years to come.

We hired Freddy (BYX Photography) To capture our wedding day this past December of 2022. We absolutely loved working with him & loved the photos he captured for us that we'll be able to cherish for the rest of our lives. Freddy was so sweet, He was not only professional but he made the entire experience effortless on our part which as the Bride & Groom was so amazing. Freddy went above and beyond to make sure everything we wanted was noted down & he made sure to follow through the day of. He made me feel so comfortable while photographing my "getting ready" photos, All of my bridesmaids had requests for photos they wanted to take and he worked well with everyone and was open to ideas/poses we had in mind. Freddy prepared a contract and made sure to answer any questions we had while going over the agreement. As far as pricing I personally think it was great & more cost effective than other photographers I previously looked into. Everything was done In a timely manner and he did a wonderful job communicating with us in regards to when our photos would be finalized and any other details we needed to be aware of.

A & A Bridal Hair and Makeup

5.0

  • Beauty professional
  • Starts at $600
  • Serves Bass Lake, CA

Based in Clovis, CA, A & A Bridal Hair and Makeup was born in 2015 by sisters & professional hair and makeup artists - Ashley and Alyssa Tucker. Having worked in the industry for over a decade, providing hair and makeup services separately for weddings, photoshoots and all events - Ashley and Alyssa realized the need to come together and provide their services, offering brides & clients the convenience of both hair and makeup in one place. The demand for our services quickly grew and we put together a team of talented artists to better serve you! We are now going on our 18th year in the beauty & bridal industry.

I LOVE these people! I looked exactly like I always dreamed I would. My wedding day was stormy and raining during the ceremony so I though I would end up looking like a wet dog by the end of it. Come to find out my makeup didn't budge a bit and my hair (which gets VERY frizzy when wet) stayed put too. They worked so hard to make sure I looked and felt my best on my big day and I honestly can't thank them enough. I felt and looked amazing all night long even after the rain thanks to these beautiful people. I 100% suggest you hire them for your event. It is so worth it!

Hiring Eivan’s for our wedding was a great decision! Our photographer Gregory I was professional and FUN! He kept us smiling throughout the day with his quirky personality! My fiancé does not care for photos so I’m happy we had someone working with us who could make him comfortable. He made sure to get multiple images even if it was just “one more”, it was never one more! We had actually hired a different photographer and we replaced him with this company. Worth the stress and money! If I had any tips for the company, it would be to have your photographers give a 30 minute warning before their contracted time is up. Weddings are so busy for the bride and groom, it is very easy to lose track of time. I think clients would appreciate a little heads up just so they can try and capture any photos they may have missed. Other than that, I have ZERO complaints. Such an amazing experience! 10/10 highly recommend :)

Ceremony DJs

5.0

  • DJ
  • Starts at $2,999
  • Serves Bass Lake, CA

Full custom theme weddings from San Francisco's leading indie DJs. Share your love of music with family and friends. We're here to help you make your wedding sound like the mixtape you exchanged when you first met.

Our experience working with Jamie and Ceremony DJs can be best summed up by the fact that multiple people told us after the ceremony they wanted to book him for their wedding and at least one got his business card! I can't imagine a better DJ, truly. When we first met with Jamie, he said he could make people dance to anything and would keep people on the dance floor all night, and he WAS NOT LYING. The whole night, the dance floor was PACKED even though it was rainy/muddy/cold/wet. Jamie took us on a journey that covered all of the bases of the music we love to hear and dance to, seamlessly and magically (?) integrating genres with the best mixes, it was pure wizardry and really captured who we were. We as a couple care a lot about music and wanted music that represented who we were and what we like to listen to, and he did not disappoint! So much prep work went into this, he took patience and time to try to understand our tastes and vibe, and it was so cool to have the wedding played on vinyl- basically, Jamie just "got it" from start to finish and we had the best time! Our wedding also got delayed due to rain and a road closure and he was such a good sport, staying late to keep us all dancing for a whole other hour- so fun! Also, when our ceremony musician was stuck in traffic due to the storm, he was so prepared and had our prelude/processional music downloaded so we could still walk down the aisle to the songs we'd chosen. Overall, such a cool, kind, funny guy who was professional and prepared in every way and honest just takes time to meet and know his clients, and clearly just loves to share his love of music. I would book him for everything if I could. BOOK THIS DJ. You will NOT regret it!

Something Borrowed Blooms

4.9

  • Florist
  • Starts at $250
  • Serves Bass Lake, CA

Thousands of brides across the United States and Canada have trusted Something Borrowed Blooms to provide the perfect flowers for their wedding day. We offer brides the expensive peonies, delicate ranunculus, out-of-season anemones, and the ever-impossible-to-find-magnolia — all at a fraction of the cost.

Something Borrowed Blooms provided the most lifelike and luxurious floral arrangements for our wedding day. The bouquets, ceremony pieces and boutonnieres were all incredibly realistic and high quality, with vibrant colors and lush textures that exceeded our expectations. In fact, as my husband and I were taking photos in a park, a bee even tried to pollinate my bouquet, drawn to its beauty and realism. Getting the boxes to the venue did require a bit of coordination, but with a little help from friends we were able to easily box them up the day after the wedding and ship them off via FedEx. We saved easily 2,000 thanks to Something Borrowed and you would never know the flowers were fake.

Flower Moxie – Do-It-Yourself Wedding Flowers

4.8

  • Florist
  • Starts at $350
  • Serves Bass Lake, CA

In 2013, 8-year wedding veteran Amy McCord Jones realizes she wouldn't be able to afford to hire her own floral services if she was a bride. Then, Amy discovers that there is basically zero help available for DIY brides. No flower recipes. No instructions. No access to florist-grade blooms. Rude. So she launches Flower Moxie! Flower Moxie remains a humble, tucked-away small business out of Oklahoma City. We don’t zoom around on scooters in some fancy high-rise. We stock an average kitchen with canned wine and Aldi chips and listen to true crime podcasts while photographing curvy ranunculus. Join us. There’s cake, hugs, and acceptance here.

Awarded Best of Zola
This was by far one of the best decisions and money savers I could’ve done for myself. The flowers were top quality, beautiful, and we had a blast putting them together with our family. Flower Mocie is simple and they have videos that will help you prepare in advance for your vision and piecing your bouquets together. I was quoted 5000 for florals by other vendors, but with flower moxie and a little creativity, we only spent 500 to cover 12 bouquets and 16 boutonnières. HIGGLY RECOMMEND

  • Starts at $175

Believe it or not, we often have people ask if our pictures throughout our website are showing a mix of fresh and faux and…no they aren’t! Although fresh florals are pretty, we are totally in love with poser-blooms all the way here and that’s what we design 100% of our orders with.

Awarded Best of Zola
I had the absolute best experience with The Faux Bouquets. The flowers were absolutely stunning for my wedding. The owner, Brittany, was so kind and even called me to make sure my wedding wouldn't be affected by Hurricane Helene. Thankfully, my area was not affected, but I just really felt that was a special kindness that needs to be called out. But again, the quality of the bouquets, micro sprays and greenery was so great and photographed so well! And all at a fraction of the cost of real flowers that would have just been thrown away at the end of the night! The delivery and return process couldn't have been simpler! And I loved my husband and I got to customize and keep my bouquet and his boutonniere during a promotional add-on! Thank you again, Brittany and The Faux Bouquets, for helping make our wedding so beautiful!
