“my photography group was outstanding!! sherri and her group were open to my creativity and loved the poses I wanted to randomly throw in!! there are 2 girls and 2 guys so nothing was missed on my special day!! the positivity that came from them all was amazing talk about a hype team!! also I booked her very early so she dealt with me for a year and a half and was very attentive to all my changes wants and needs!! she also worked with me on payments. also my husband and I are both plus size people and they made sure all of our good angles were in the shot!! We worked out some of the details in my engagement photos, and she even suggested we wait a little bit longer since we wanted pictures around bluebonnets, and they typically come in early March. I really appreciated that she didn't want to rush us, and truly wanted the best pictures for us. During the day of the engagement pictures, I came from work and was running late, and then gave Natalie the wrong address to the location. She was so understanding throughout this whole process. When we took the pictures, we felt comfortable and it was like taking pictures with an old friend of ours. She was so sweet and professional and even did fantastic with our dog that was taking pictures with us also. Last thing I'll mention, she was really quick in sending us the pictures! Would 10/10 recommend her and work with her again!”

“My fiancé and I loved working with Lucia! She did an engagement photo session with us, and the whole experience was fantastic from beginning to end. She set up a video call to get to know us, get a sense for who we were and what we were looking for, and then was super helpful and communicative when picking a location for the shoot. She was able to share sites she had used before with photos from those locations, and she shared input from other photographers on locations we thought of that she hadn't used before. When we started looking for a photographer we were apprehensive about the whole thing because we're both by nature pretty awkward in front of a camera, but she made us super comfortable and you can tell how relaxed we were when looking at the photos. We genuinely had family members say "now that's what I think of when I picture you two" when they saw our photos. She even asked for some of our favorite music and had it playing when we started, which was super thoughtful! For the shoot itself, she gave us plenty of direction but was also really collaborative and open to any of our ideas for poses or shots or areas of the location to use. We were worried on the way to the shoot because it was rainy when we first showed up at the park, but right away she had ideas for how to still find usable areas and took some great shots, and even had some clear umbrellas that made for a cute look. When the rain let up, we were able to get some wide shots that really took advantage of the location and she did a fantastic job of editing out the groups of oblivious sightseers that walked into frame. The photos definitely capture us as a couple and showcased the location we chose. After the session we got our preview gallery back in record time. She told us she was going out of town on a family trip a few days after our shoot but she'd get our preview turned around before she left so that we didn't have to wait, and she totally delivered (and probably 3x the amount she promised, so she even overdelivered). We got the full gallery back exactly when she said, and they all look amazing; we loved the experience and the photos we get to share with family and friends.”

She had a fast turn around time for the photos and even gave a few sneak peak photos. I loved working with her and would do it again. We couldn’t get a date that worked for both of our schedules for bridal portraits, so we were going to do maternity photos. It wound up falling through on my part but Jennifer was willing to do it! She was very flexible and accommodating for all of my requests.”

“My newly minted husband and I were over the moon from the initial contact with Anna Elisabeth. She is an excellent listener with a superb sense of capturing our wishes in her photographs. We had an unusual experience in that we wanted to capture both of our faith traditions on different days and different geographical areas in the same state. “Working with Martin from start to finish was an absolute dream. He was very professional, communication was excellent, and he always found time to chat with us if we had any questions we wanted to talk through. We had big dreams of doing our first looks at Grand Central, and considering our wedding/prep was in Brooklyn, this was definitely not going to be an easy feat to squeeze in with the travel time. But Martin helped us make the timeline, and although we ended up falling behind schedule, still managed to get us there with the most amazing photos and videos. He and Kero are literally the coolest people we've ever met, and they made a full day of posing and smiling so much more fun and lighthearted. And everything we did was all part of such a smart plan - there were some poses/shots that in the moment we thought felt odd, but looking back at the final edits it all came together. Their team works on other projects outside of weddings, and you can really see their artistry come through in the finished products. Our wedding photos are beautifully edited, and really captured all the most important aspects of the day. And the candid shots we got from our reception truly convey the energy and excitement of the night. The videos are exceptional. From each new snippet that got released on social media, to the final products of our 10 minute highlight reel and full documentary, we can look back on our wedding and feel like we're watching a movie trailer or a music video. The way the clips were synced with the music was so magical, and it all just flowed in a way that makes so much sense. I would 1000% recommend Making Lab to anyone who is looking for both photography & videography for any event.”
