One thing to know about me is that I truly am passionate about what I do, and I think that shows in my work. I love getting to know everyone's story and want to gift my couples with a film that truly captures their love. I have been filming weddings for 3 years but I knew I had a passion for filming long before I started this journey. I got my first camera in high school and used any excuse to film my friends or the places I traveled! It wasn't until my second year in college that I really started to pursue video as a career. I bought a few pieces of gear, and filmed my first wedding in April 2021!

Every day I get to meet new and unique people who allow me to join them & to capture the most intimate and emotional moments of their lives. I seek couples who have wandering hearts and adventuring souls, Catching that closeness between two people completely in love. The way your hands fit together, the laughter, the way you hold on to each other.. That kind of chemistry, that’s what makes my job so much better, I get to be the one witnesses it, and saves it. Hey! We're Shelley + Portugal. We met on Instagram and fell in love over FaceTime. A shared interest in roadkill portraiture is what brought us together (it’s a funny story), but what compelled us to exchange numbers and talk every day for 3 months was the fact that we were both seeking the same things out of life. Nothing about our story is conventional (and it goes against every warning from our parents against Internet stranger danger) but despite the “what-ifs” and the long-distance logistics, we said yes. And in saying yes to something we couldn’t fully comprehend, we were unknowingly saying "yes" to a life full of adventure together.

Crump Family Farm was established as its own entity as a farm in 1876. This wooded sanctuary would eventually be purchased by Jeff and Bessie Crump. This dutiful family consisting of Jeff, Bessie, and their 6 children, farmed the land for over 36 years. The full practice of raising and processing tobacco, cultivating large vegetable gardens, and sustaining, and controlling livestock was all normal routine in providing for a family of that era.

Located minutes south of Bowling Green Kentucky (And only 60 minutes north of Nashville Tennessee) , and sits on 20 acres of idyllic Southern KY country side. Our historic barn provides a lovely setting for up to 300 guests. Our Bridal Cottage is truly an elegant place to get ready for your big day. And if you book the venue for a full weekend, you and/or your guest may stay there overnight. The cottage sleeps up to 4 and includes a full kitchen/bathroom.
