Truly the classics but enough variety that it wasn’t always overly played songs. Our guests were chanting “one more song” at the end. Before the wedding Steve was so kind and responsive, working with us to make sure he knew the schedule precisely plus the vibe we were going for. “We are so happy to have found DJ Anthony B from NonStop Music for our wedding this past June 17th and would highly recommend him to any future bride and groom (or for any event)! My now husband and I are musicians, so we spent a lot of time researching DJs and debating what kind of DJ we wanted. As soon as we had the first meeting with Anthony (after listening to hours of his remixes), we knew he was the one. He listened to every need and concern we had regarding wedding music and DJs in general, and flat-out blew us away with his talent. His musicianship truly shows in his ability to get all of the guests out on the dance floor, no matter their age. Our guests are still raving about how good the music was more than a week after our wedding and how they have never danced so much at a wedding before (including our wedding coordinator)! He was able to take the classic wedding songs and put a nice spin on them so that it kept the original sound, but also added something new and special. “We absolutely loved working with The Hook Club. Our amazing planner, Greenhouse Events, recommended THC, and we were sold immediately after meeting with Dan. He is super relaxed, nice, and so knowledgable. Dan and THC team made planning super easy for us. They took time to hear about our hopes and helped recommend different band sizes for us. We hadn’t heard of a DJ band before, but loved the idea of some live music with the versatility to play all sorts of music, but our venue wasn’t very big and we also didn’t want to break the bank and hire a huge band. We chose the 4 piece DJ band with singer, sax, drums, and DJ. We knew we LOVED the sax, so we also had the sax play for cocktail hour (shout out to Elijah, who was amazing), and it was one of the best parts of the night. For planning music, they sent out a very detailed and thorough spreadsheet with more songs than one could imagine, and we could rate ones we liked the most, choose ones we definitely wanted or didn't, and choose specific songs for important moments. We met a couple times to review music choices as well. One of our biggest fears with a DJ was that they'd talk too much and be a little annoying, but Dan did a great job as MC, and was very low-key like we asked but announced important moments clearly. Dan and all the musicians had such great energy and got everyone on the dance floor. Our vocalist, Christen, was also amazing — her voice was spectacular, and she was such an amazing performer and got everyone involved in the music and dancing. So many people told us how much they loved the music and the energy, and had never heard of a DJ band but thought it was an amazing concept and the addition of live music over tracks added extra excitement and fun. THC also helped out with lighting (uplights and dance lights), and worked with our fantastic planner and the venue to help us decide the best setup. Ultimately, we loved working with THC. Their DJ-band setup is unique and adds so much variety to your music while allowing for some of the energy that comes from live performers. We danced the night away and had an absolute blast. 100% would recommend THC to anyone!”
