Located in the heart of Southern Illinois, Dana, Morgan, and Joe welcome you to Dragonfly. Born from the need to have a place all to yourself on your Big day, Dragonfly sits on a 36-gorgeous acres. The venue features a 1-acre pond, a 3-bedroom Bridal Cottage, a down-stairs Groom's Room, a large climate-controlled wedding barn, an outdoor patio, a covered pavilion​ with stone fireplace, and the wonderland woods. At Dragonfly, you have a place for all your wedding festivities: engagement pictures​, rehearsal dinner, ceremony, and reception.

Our heartfelt desire is to provide an affordable and classic wedding venue that is limited only by your imagination. Every decision we have made has been to provide the best wedding experience for you. Our goal is to replace wedding stress with wedding joy. Your wedding day should be filled with love and family, not stress. We provide a large selection of quality decorations, many donated by previous brides to pay it forward. We like to believe the love transfers with them. You simply make an appointment with an experienced designer and a few months before your wedding, create your tablescape and choose your decor. The week of your wedding, we ask for those photos and everything will be readily available for you to begin creating your dream. Brides tell us it helps reduce day-of stress. The 1950's barn, nestled on the corner of a forty-acre farm on the Indiana/Illinois state line, has been renovated into an event venue that could comfortably seat over 350 people. Some highlights include a foyer that could be driven through, the ballroom boasting five chandeliers, heating/cooling, kitchenettes, changing rooms, restrooms, an outdoor pavilion, numerous outdoor ceremony locations, and grounds with mature trees.

Nestled away in the rolling hills of Makanda, IL, The Wedding Barn at Black Jack Vineyard offers an all-inclusive weekend wedding package to make it easy for you to have a memorable experience. The package includes use of the vineyards, pond, rustic event barn, and farmhouse for your overnight accommodations. We pride ourselves in offering a private setting all while being affordable and accommodating. Black Jack Vineyard has served as a gorgeous venue for countless special events. Engelbrecht Farm sits on 8 acres and is located in the heart of farming country. A very unique structural features of the barn is the opening to allow guests to be seated to two levels and both levels can look at the head table for a gallery type feel. The other unique feature is its size. It is the largest actual barn (not modern structure that looks like a barn) within multiple states at 4500 square feet. Adjacent to the barn is the old 4000 square foot feedlot with flower garden and iron pergola. Late in the day makes for a great spot for outdoor games. With the barn comes the recently restored, three bedroom farmhouse originally constructed in the 1890’s. One amazing aspect for the wedding package is it’s a standard three day booking. Families arrive on Friday and check out on Sunday. This gives them time to relax and take the whole experience in. Plus the time is spent making their wedding their own. This is the place for imagination and creativity to really shine.

Moonlight Pine is nestled among the tress and cliffs five miles east of Marion. We offer a majestic Amish built barn that brings the charm of the mountains to Southern Illinois. The barn is climate controlled for year-round use. We have a bride and groom getting-ready nook, indoor and outdoor ceremony options, and multiple picture areas.
