The Evergreen Estate was envisioned by two college sweethearts as a place to enjoy life's finest moments with the people you love most. We wanted to create an authentic special events venue that embraces nature and allows our guests to enjoy themselves and make memories that last. We are committed to delivering excellent quality of service, transparency, and thoughtfulness to our community. Our waterfront venue sits on nine acres and is surrounded by beautiful evergreen trees. Our indoor and outdoor social spaces were thoughtfully designed with smooth-flowing events in mind. Whether you're looking for a place to hold a formal gathering or wedding, or need a more relaxed environment for a family reunion, party for any occasion or festival, The Longhouse is the perfect destination for your function. Beautifully situated at the top of a hill overlooking a lake on approximately 450 acres tree farm and wildlife preserve. The Longhouse building has a large hall that can be used in a variety of ways. It's cathedral ceiling and large stone hearth make it both beautifully spacious and warm and inviting. You can do just that at this perfect 1938 unique barn that is located in a prime location in the heart of North Carolina. We are located near Greensboro, High Point, Winston-Salem, Asheboro and many points in between. We offer an authentic farm setting that is rustic yet elegant. You can have a small intimate ceremony or you can have an extravagant wedding. Millikan Farms is perfect for your wedding ceremony, wedding reception, rehearsal dinner or anniversary celebration. Our barn can hold up to 200 guests. We have tables and chairs on site. The patio attached to the barn is perfect for your reception with a beautiful view of the lake. Originally called Doub's United Methodist Chapel, this historic structure was relocated to its current site in 1909 and functioned as a place of worship for decades. Today, the chapel has been meticulously renovated, preserving its vintage charm while incorporating modern amenities. Magnolia Hill remains a house of worship which has stunning architecture and intimate ambiance. About Haw River Ballroom The Haw River Ballroom is a beautiful riverside venue set in the former Dye House of Saxapahaw’s Historic Cotton Mill.
