“I was referred to Birch Fields by my cousin (who used Birch Fields for her wedding) 2 weeks before my June 2020 Covid wedding. We decided last minute to have the wedding even if it was just going to be immediate family. Because no extended family or friends were allowed at the time we wanted a way to record the day as if they were there. I had posted I was looking for someone to shoot on a VHS camcorder and film the whole wedding start to finish with no breaks just like old family videos we had growing up. Steven not only was up for the challenge, but spent his whole day capturing every detail of our wedding. We got copies of both 4k and VHS which is so special and cool. “My husband and I had the pleasure of having Emelie shoot the video for our wedding in April 2020. When we chose Emelie we had planned a large extravagant wedding at our venue with 250+ people. With the pandemic hitting our country just the month before our big day we were stuck with a ton of options and not really knowing what to do. We decided to go through with our wedding plans on our original day but we were only allowed to have 10 people there- including ourselves. There was absolutely no doubt in my mind that Emelie would be one of those 10 people no matter what, and I have never regretted that decision. Emelie captured our day and our love perfectly. I think my favorite thing about her is that she is so quiet that you barely realize she is there but the creative juices are flowing through her and that really shows in all of her videos. My favorite thing to do (probably once a week) is watch our video and cry many happy tears. I love the way she tells all of her couples love stories, but especially ours. My best advice is if you’re thinking about video but don’t know how to fit it in your budget- FIND A WAY! Save all the pennies and throw them toward Emelie. You will never regret it.”
