A cinematic eye. --- A bleeding heart. --- An inclusive spirit. --- I've picked up a camera just about every day since I fell in love with photography in 2013. Though every shoot holds something unique, it takes a lot to catch me off guard after a decade in business. I pride myself on my ability to quickly connect with my clients, making them feel comfortable, cared for, and confident that they look great. Being a helpful and calming presence in the midst of your wedding is second nature to me. Basically, I try to treat people how I want to be treated: with fairness and understanding!
INCLUSIVE: I love getting to experience a huge variety of unique cultures up close. On the technical side, I am proud of my ability to capture the radiance of Black skin tones and help interracial couples look their best together. As an LGBTQIA+ ally, I love love! EMPATHIC: To get those shots where a person's feelings are written across their face requires a real connection. ENGAGING: I have a genuine interest in people! Building friends as I go helps me become part of the event. COLLABORATIVE: I've got my go-tos, but I'm ready to hear your ideas! We can create something together we never could have without each other.

Zach, the King of Candids
Zach is a talented and creative photographer, with the most calming but also can do attitude. I appreciated that Zach communicated openly about his approach and also took the time to understand our vision. My only regret is not booking him for even more hours! Zach also did our engagement shoot a few weeks before the wedding and kindly turned around our photos in a matter of days so I could post before our big day. (What a doll!) We are still receiving compliments everyday from friends and family and coworkers regarding the wedding photos. We are beyond grateful for this beautiful capture of our memories and we owe it all to Zach.

Zach was absolutely amazing to work with! We were quick to book with him after clicking so well at our first meeting. We booked an engagement session separate from the wedding booking and were so glad we did! He provided great direction and conversation, helping two socially awkward folks feel comfortable and look like superstars. He was on time and professional for our wedding day, taking care to make sure we covered our photo list and suggesting a few shots that wound up as some of our favorites. He returned our images exactly on schedule and WOW! We were blown away! The photos exactly capture my memory of the wedding day. We would hire Zach again in a heartbeat!

If I could give a million stars I would! I can go on forever about what a gem Zach & Maria are, I have never met two people that just have such beautiful and positive energy! From our first phone call Zach, my husband and I just hit it off! It felt like we were chatting with a friend! He never felt like a “vendor” to me, it felt like just a cool pal with a camera hanging around with us capturing our special day! Zach is such a professional but he makes you feel so comfortable and goes with the flow!
